I miss mine.... he was a minor celebrity here on Sherdog a couple years ago. He's beaten Shogun and Martin Kampmann in MMA and is a K1 Grand Prix winner that Jake Shields was ducking.

Yikes, idk. I heard that one of the recent PotWR candidates was harassing another one about their dog having to be put down after years of behavioral issues.

Confirmed. He was a beast and easily the toughest dude in the Plats. I'm still gotten to about Charlie btw, I keep expecting him to run up to the gate when I pull in the driveway. There's also a neighbor with a big lab who has a bark that sounds like his, and when it wakes me up at night I sometimes jump out of bed to tell him to shut up. And then, "Oh. That's right."

I love this guy and I'm a 1911 owner and fan boy and if it weren't for not owning a good holster for my Glock I'd probably carry the Glock over my 1911 when I do carry it.

It's been 2 ish years since my family and I had to say goodbye to him and every once in awhile for some reason my brain starts thinking about him and I start tearing up a bit still.

Meh, I know people that have worked with him and....well, I have absolutely zero problems with his fall from grace and would have even less problem with him retiring completely. He should join Anthony Kennedy in trying their best to enjoy their golden years. Because what's coming after for them is going to suck really damn badly.

Yeah, looks like he's got his hands all over that appeal. Got really deep inside the issues. Opposing counsel probably feels pretty uncomfortable being across from Kozinski, but who can blame her? Hes a tough, smart guy who doesn't mince words and she wouldn't be the first to feel that way.
 
I'll need to find them on my laptop that is currently constantly wanting to BlueScreen of Death tonight when I get home.

I financially can't support the type of dogs I like. I'm in a rental that only allows cats plus there's a cat there and I barely make enough to truly support myself comfortably. Once my truck is paid off I probably will get another because I'll be financially in a spot where I'm living without roommates in a place that allows dogs.

I feel ya. I'll be moving into a small studio at some point. I doubt I'll want to deal with a pet.

I know if/when I no longer have roommates I’d like to have one so I can be like Bill Burr when his girl got the pitbull. When you’re stuck alone it can really press on you how alone you are..... I know it’s an issue I had when I was away from home for school and part of why I struggled. Even though I was in a dorm I kept to myself so much it just.... well.... was lonely.

EDIT:
Like, even now I live in a house with 5 roommates, 3 of which have their significant others over like 80% of the time, 1 of those 3 their significant other has a child so I really live with like 9 other people and I still feel kind of alone when I get home cause they'll say "hello" and shit but no one is excited for me getting home the way Chester was where he'd run around our living room like a maniac and stand there with his tail wagging so hard his whole back end is wagging.
