If you have that kind of drive why not get into the private sector? Sounds like you have a competitive spirit.
I am in the private sector

Are you sure you should use "came across" and Mr. Tingle in the same sentence? Some folks might think you're baiting them into getting infractions.I came across a lawsuit against Amazon and Mr. Tingle a few years ago. Apparently he used some strangers' wedding pictures for a book cover once. They were mad.
The noThat is a good point, actually. The whole zero tolerance Homer rule has created a trapping problem. I just hope there is some discretion being used when handing out the dubs, because there is some very obvious bait being laid down, and a newcomer isn't going to know the rules and get nailed, nor is it fair that regulars have to bite their tongue and let the bait comments go, no matter how fucked up they are.

I've never worked in the public sector, except during school.
Why not?
Welp, you're going to hate me if I get the position I just applied for.I despise prosecutors.
My passion is unions and workers' interests. I don't want political office, I don't have the stomach to be a public defender, and I despise prosecutors. If I was offered a public sector position that I really liked, I would accept it, but it hasn't happened.
oddly enough, our Union in our section of the DoD/public sector is like amazingly gangsta. Which is part of the reason the myth perpetuates that it's nearly impossible to fire a Federal employeeMy passion is unions and workers' interests. Imagine defending some piece of shit that raped his 6 year old niece and the dude's defense is "she came on to me."Why don't you think you have the stomach to be a public defender?
Ok, so you can't drop your ego for two seconds in order to contribute to society in a meaningful way so you scape goat with socialism.
Interesting.

absolutely....however the key there (as i'm sure you know) is 'underperforming' and since not many managers give out poor performance appraisals it then becomes very hard to cite poor performance or patterns of misconductYeah, I can't speak to your union, but that myth is very much a myth. Termination protections for government employees in the US are generally weaker than termination protections for private sector employees in a lot of other countries. It's very easy to terminate an under-performing federal government employee (I also worked at the EEOC in college, writing decisions for unlawful termination and discrimination claims).
The Federalist: You're Not Allowed to Knock Trump for Stormy Daniels If You Watch Porn

Which part of that article are you specifically ghasing your teeth over? The you cant blame trump because xyz-- because there has been a myriad of articles stating you cant view sex workers as X if you done so and so. Or the notion that watching porn is akin to cheating. I disagree with every point in the article but it shared a lot of trendy topics (especially with yesterday being national end stigma against sex workers day) and many women feeling the same RE: porn
