I think he used to go by the Beastmaster or something like that. He had the Paul cosign for his debut and then...did nothing lmao. Like damn.

I hadn't heard his MJ story, he's a good ass dude though the few times I met him. My mom was cool with him when he was selling his tapes outside Renaissance Records in Killeen. Back when they were off fucking Fort Hood street lol. I think that spot is a bingo joint now.

I think that's right. Yeah dude just disappeared. Definitely had a clean flow.

MJ dissed him for an autograph and he takes it personally. If you run into him he'll talk about that for like 5 minutes. You won't even get a word in lol. Super cool on your mom and with his character. He's a super good dude. Most of the Houston guys are

It's funny, even with all the drama, beef, and Z-Ro's ever changing feelings, the only person I consistently hear bad shit about is Travis Scott. People REALLY don't like his ass. <Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

He's an amazing athlete. I just don't see it though. You're right that all the tools are there.

Watching a little more of Lawrence I think the "generational talent" isn't close. He's nowhere near the prospect Luck was imo. He doesn't see the field like that

We differ on Wilson. How quick he gets the ball out and can throw off his back foot is impressive. His arm strength goes without saying. I think he's better than Lawrence

Wilson is my favorite QB of the class. I'm not bold enough to say I like him more than Lawrence, because a lot of people who have watched a lot more and know a lot more than I do are firm in their opinion that Lawrence is superior and on par with Luck.

what thread is this...

I'll go and try and keep the peace. (insert laugh here)

Z-RO'S feels are hilarious (but that's due to lean). Travis changed a whole lot. He used to be chill but he's in love with himself and nobody can stand that. Kardashian curse

I don't know if this is a good thing remember what happened to judo when it became an event

Took that hook line and sinker, huh?
If/when it happens it won't be through the ibjjf as they are a for-profit organization and not an NPO. For over a decade the UWW (international governing body amateur wrestling) has been doing their own version of gi and nogi grappling events. If it ever happens it'll be under the banner of the UWW

Obviously there's a lot of scouts who have seen more than myself but I like to trust my gut feeling because that's typically right. You watch enough to have what I consider an educated opinion. I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong but he's not Luck

Interesting we agree on Wilson. Maybe we see what others don't want to (tough to go against the Lawrence narrative)

I think Lawrence is good. But I don't think "prototypical size" is all that important of a consideration at all for a QB. And while his body fluidity in his throwing motion and his ability to loosen up and adjust his throwing base is good for his size, it's still not as good as guys like Rodgers and Mahomes. I also think his release is just a touch long compared to those guys, and he's inconsistent in looking off receivers.

For Wilson, he just reminds me a lot of Aaron Rodgers in terms of how fluidly he flicks and flings the ball. The only other quarterback I've said that about is Josh Allen, who is imo the GOAT draft prospect in terms of raw talent that I've ever seen. Yet Wilson, like Rodgers and unlike Allen when he came out, also throws with great rhythm and, unlike both of them, really strikes a good balance on playing inside/outside of a play. Whereas Rodgers didn't do it nearly enough at Cal and Allen played hero ball far, far too much at Wyoming.

I competed sub wrestling for USA wrestling for several years while they were trying out grappling.

The early years or more recently? I know a few guys who competed on team usa

early on. They had a lot of local meets in Southern California during the post season and pre season of the wrestling season during the mid 2000s. Lots of good local guys showed. Dominique Cruz competed at a lot of them before he got big. He was training at my gym at the time.
