It is a 1A issue. Pan and Quipling explained it.

I can't understand how people are OK with this. Really feels like America is in danger--not because of Trump, but because people are so tolerant of stuff like that.

Fedor and Werdum arguably had better careers than anyone on the list. Other great HWs would be above some people on the list.

What's your list? Would you say that you "hate" whoever is on the bottom of it? I bet you (rightly) think that Mir would kick Trump's ass. Does that mean you hate Trump?

Maybe, but I wouldn't have a history of hating the person on the bottom of it, nor would I use it against people who think highly of them, so it would be a lot harder to come to that conclusion.

It would be between Cro Cop and Sylvia BTW. I actually love Cro Cop, but I live in reality, and could not rate him very highly on highlights alone.

I'm going to assume it's Sylvia. If someone said that Sylvia was the second-best HW ever, wouldn't you think that reflects really poorly on their judgment? I would. And obviously I have no history of hating Mir. It's embarrassing to see a grown man with that level of emotional maturity ("waah. If you don't think someone is as good as I think he is, it's because you hate him! waah!").

Why? It would show very poor reasoning in addition to the fact that they don't know what they're watching, and it would show that bias can cloud their mind to a level that they are literally delusional. Getting trivial stuff like this egregiously wrong often says more than getting more-important stuff wrong. I was first convinced that Trump was an idiot before he entered politics when I saw him talking about baseball.

For many reasons, Jack. I know its crazy, but some people have reasoning skills that don't revolve around MMA.

That's like judging a person's entire being on what their favorite TV Show is.

No it isn't. For one thing, I'm only judging someone's reasoning skills. For another, it's not a matter of preference. I also explained my thinking. Don't see how you'd still not get it.
 
Holy shit, House of Cards was never a very good show (at all), but its final season might be the single most excruciatingly bad season of any drama I've ever seen. Stupid, silly, formulaic, overdramatic, centerless, pointless, politically incoherent, and frankly insulting to the US political system, which is really hard to do in the age of Trump.

The only thing really good about the show was Michael Kelly's portrayal, and they even managed to fuck that up.
