A guy I was friends with in HS who was a SEAL recently posted that he had to call out 2 guys for Stolen Valor.

Apparently his MMA coach was lying about being a SEAL and his brother in law was lying about being an Army Ranger until he and his brother confronted him about it and threatened to beat him up.

I get thinking you can get away with that type of shit at bar in front of drunks but how are you going to try and convince your brother in law, who's a SEAL that you're a Ranger? Or how are you going to pass it off to the dudes you train when you figure you'll probably get a few students that served.

I don't ever understand why people do that dumb shit. Respect people who actually went through all of that.
