It's funny because a part of me still thinks of all the top guys in the division as prospects. I think much more than the elite in other divisions, you could see their success coming from far away. Of course Romero and Jacare were old prospects from the beginning, and it was like 8 years ago when people argued about whether Weidman or Rockhold was the best prospect in the sport (with Whittaker not far behind).
That is weird, but I know what you mean. I see them all as being contenders, at least. It doesn't feel like Whittaker is the champion. I'm not sure if it's because nobody stepped up to dominate after Silva or what. Whereas Khabib definitely feels like the champ in LW despite that belt/division being a complete mess since after Pettis.

Seriously, though. Anyone?
As it stands, GSP is the most dominant fighter ever to do so without cheating, so he's at the top of my list. And if it ever came out he does cheat, well, that's a tumble on down. Is Lance Armstrong one of the greatest cyclists of all time? No. We all know he isn't. Because he was cheating. Real greatness can't be propped up by cheating. Hard pass from me. I find it kind of baffling tbh that people can consider somebody great at something they cheat their way through.

I just watched a movie called Primal Rage and a chick definitely got raped by Bigfoot.

Also watched a movie called Jungle with Daniel Radcliffe that was pretty good. Based on a true story about a guy who got lost in the Bolivian Jungle for 3 weeks and survived

I get you but I make an exception for Armstrong, since literally every single top cyclist was dirty the whole time. Remarkably scummy human still.

It reflects badly on him as a person, and I don't root for the guy. But he is the best fighter we've seen in MMA.

And I think Cormier is the 2nd best fighter of all time.

He should have stayed at HW when he came to the UFC. He would have held a belt for a long time.

That's good to hear. I hate movies when I'm like, "Did a chick just get raped by Bigfoot? It was really hard to tell. This is gonna bug me for the rest of the movie."

As @Lavalamp can confirm (he fell for the hype big time on mediocre HWs like Lesnar and Carwin), I'm a huge admirer of Fedor's skills, but he's no Jon Jones. I'd make Jones 2-1 head to head, and he's never even fought at HW. There's no comparing what they've done in their own divisions.

I mean you didn't see his dick but he for behind her and ripped her shirt off and her face was covered in shame in the morning. Looked like she didn't sleep at all that night.

To be fair to him I think he stopped her from getting gang raped by 8 hicks so I can understand why he felt he was owed something.

Fair enough. I disagree but I think it's probably a matter of perspective.

Also I think we should make pro athletes take steroids

I mean what's the difference between that and a guy wearing glasses. They are both artificially enhancing their physical abilities.

They should be made to enhance themselves as much as possible

I do draw the line at cyclists who use motorized bikes doe.

It's still real to me damnit!

I think there should be two parallel tracks: tested and untested, just like there is in powerlifting. I have no problem with PED users, just so long as they stay in their lane.

DJ and GSP.

Jones is great but PED's can make such a difference in physical ability that his legacy is tainted
Yeah let's not forget DJ. That many title defenses is ridiculous no matter how you slice it.
