Dude great to see back.

What was that about again, I know I was kidding but I can’t remember the context.

Have a son , problem solved

I wish I did more than anything. Though I sorta wish I had a daughter I could raise like Marla hooch cuz I fear I might have to kill a son .

Wife's got fertility issues though so its not likely going to happen.

Sometimes life just doesn't deal you the hand you want and all you got is green mana and a tragic poet to play

That sucks dude, imo having kids is awesome.

Ha, that's pretty interesting. Label stuff is ways weird it seems.

Knew a guy from The End. I think their record label stuff was short lived. Had friends in lots of Toronto bands. Not so much any more.

Some artists really appreciate the label's efforts and some just assume they're getting ripped off. What I always enjoyed was that as a label you can be involved in dozens of record releases, whereas with the artists it's a fraction of that.

Fuck yeah on The End. Didn't really care for the band on their first couple records, but Elementary blew me away. Total departure from the metalcore sound and into Tool territory. Still remember sitting there losing my mind. By the middle of the 4th song (below) I was emailing our promotions director asking for the band's email so I could tell them how amazing the record was. Something I'd never done before or since. Sadly the record didn't get much attention. My guess, after seeing them live on that tour, was they just weren't pulling it off outside the studio. That and it probably wasn't what the established fans of the band wanted. But I still think this is one of the greatest records in the Relapse catalog. One of only two LPs I had an entire band autograph (the other being High On Fire "Surrounded By Thieves").

This song is epic greatness. Towards the end the vocals kinda remind me of Freddy Mercury (not that anyone is Freddie!).

What was your previous screen name?

Haha, which one?

@V-2 (Bailey Jay)
@NoDak (Artwork / No Dicks)
@MVelsor (F-Bombs)

I only consider the first truly banworthy tbh but I was a nobody on that account and legit ignorant of the rules. The NoDak handle won WR "Rookie of the Year" in 2018 and Co-"Poster of the Year" in 2019 on @Limbo Pete's awards thing, mostly for a fuckton of posts on geopolitics, industrial tech, aerospace, energy, etc.
