War Room Lounge v190: Resolution Impossible

This seems like it could get complex, so I'll let you start with the knowledge that I don't believe you will see mass student loan forgiveness during the Biden administration under normal circumstances(IE: not temporary due to COVID).

I don't think many people think Brown did anything wrong.

Man up and get a Fidel Did Nothing Wrong or Lenin Did Nothing Wrong shirt.
I was always a bit partial to Che because of romanticizing The Motorcycle Diaries as a kid.

Guerrilla Warfare was a solid book as well but there are better manuals for such things but it was super influential.

As to Brown, he was demonized for a long time. Even Lincoln talked mad shit about him, mostly because he knew Browns death was about to kick off the Civil War.

Brown also knew that his hanging was his most important action for the cause, and even uttered "this is a beautiful country" before his execution.

Some good quotes and history right here.

What is so wrong with what I've been saying? I may be wrong, just tell me how.
It's not so much being wrong but not approaching the problem in such a way that would allow you to work toward being (more) right.

For example, you can Google the basic mechanics of a loan and then decide if that's given you enough of an understanding to apply to a complicated political issue, rather than the reverse.

I wasn't particularly looking to give out a perfect solution with that original post, just to say that losses will be had if that certain proposal were to happen. I tend to start from the bottom up - okay, these are the problems, now how do we fix them.

I don't think Che is particularly controversial, either. There's a reason he's the patron saint of modern leftism. His gravest sin is, what, not fighting for speech rights during the provisional government? Not resisting popular demands and intervening on behalf on traitors in the revolutionary trials?

And yet, Google hasn't told me whether private loans are paid for in advance or not. AFAIK, loans given from banks are to be paid, or else it's a total loss. If I'm wrong, then you need to direct me to a proper source.

It's a bit silly that you're trying to offload guilt about your own ignorance by being a prick about it.

I just started with a post about money being lost if all student debt is forgiven. I may have chose the wrong word (would've replaced college with fed/private institutes) but the initial point remains. Then had a mini debate with Jack, established that I was right about the federal government losing money because "they'll make a little less revenue for a long period of time." Then @Tycho Brah tells me to stop, and the tribe starts liking posts. What is going on here

How was I being a prick? In what way, was I being a prick in any of this lol. He told me to stop, so I started asking questions.

You guys are weird.

OK. Like I said, I think it happens if Republicans stonewall any stimulus, and possibly still happens if they don't.

I felt like you were explaining what you were confused about poorly that the conversation was dragging on a long time or you were asking questions you already knew the answer to for some reason. It just was tough to read through and not to be taken as an insult. I’m just bored on a Monday and wanting more entertainment from this thread right now. With that said, I will not propose a better change of topic.

He means the part where you think other people *need* to do things so that you'll be more informed.

Huh? I didn't debate anything with you. You were asking some weird questions. Googling it would have been a better starting point.

You told me to stop, then I asked to tell me how I was wrong...but I'm the prick.

Fuck it, I'm done lol. Tonights not a good night I guess.

I tried, and couldn't get the proper answers, so I started asking here. I can't get any information on how banks pay for student loans - obviously I'm pretty sure they're insured, but insured by who, and paid for how?
