I THINK it is? Bears it's weird as they're technically omnivores as they will gorge themselves on like berries and mushrooms when they find them. Most true alpha predators taste weird though is my understanding. I don't know anyone that would eat a mountain lion but those things will kill a full grown elk and eat off the same carcass for over a week. Can't imagine that stuff after a day or two isn't rancid.
