As a Boston native, I can tell you that the Herald is a pro-Trump paper that mainly appeals to blue-collar white people, the type of people who carried Trump into the White House. These people need help right now and Trump tried to take credit for NOT helping them. It's almost like he's trying to lose at this point. He's caught up in that bubble so badly. He's lost touch with the political instincts that got him there in the first place.

It's going to get worse from here because the Corona diagnosis was bad enough, but now he foolishly took credit for something you should never in a million years try to take credit for. The polls will reflect this in upcoming days. What the hell is he thinking?

When the Red Army's advance was imminent, Hitler could have chosen to surrender and save thousands of German lives. Instead, petulant and angry about his defeat and insisting that it was the fault of the weak citizenry and disloyal generals, Hitler resolved to have them slaughtered. Countless innocents suffered because Hitler was so immature, conceited, and self-absorbed.

I like to think that Trump is just forcing one more glaring Hitler analogue before leaving office.
 
If Trump wins again, they will have to seriously reform our sensemaking apparatuses. You simply can't run non-stop anti-Trump news cycles for 4 years and not expect the needle to move at a national level. And that's not even factoring in Trumps legitimate blunders.

I predict an easy victory for Biden. But if by some miracle Trump wins we have to question the power of the media and pop culture.

No one is surprised. These groups are extremely dangerous and their ranks are filled with sad incels who logged too many hours on Call of Duty.

I had some girl trouble a while back that put me in a bad place mentally. Now I'm mostly keeping to myself. I met a pretty great girl the other day and might see if it goes anywhere, but I'm kinda "meh" on the idea of locking anything down at the moment.

That's basically where I am. I don't care to date or even hook up at the moment, but I had one of those moments where there was just instant chemistry. Pretty rare, but I might give it a shot.
