To be fair, I first started posting in the WR. I lurked for quite awhile, but I almost have never posted in the heavies
You’re a 2012 account, that’s different.

How would you know which threads were popular?

Believe it or not Richard Dawkins was at one time a big internet thing. He was discussed all over the interwebs. He even had his own forum.

The modern right loves Malcom but hates Obama because he was too radical.

You think Malcom is great but hate blm tactics lolol

Like what the shit? Malcolm would have REALLY told them how he felt, they better be happy they got Obama. The "self defense" in "Black Panther Party for Self Defense" wasn't for show, and it was all thanks to Malcolm.

Trumps going home tomorrow to his house. Guess this gives him plenty of time to find a new house before the eviction in January.

Brother Malcom is one of my heros.

Altho admittedly I did vote for Obummer. It was an easy decision considering his opposition.

The rights view of Malcolm makes me believe they just saw some memes or a YouTube vid and that's what Malcolm is.

Well it is an interesting question: what is authoritarianism? Left-wing beliefs center around equality of some kind (equality of property owning citizens, equality of the sexes, equality of the classes, etc) and right wing ones around inequality (thousands of permutations). Authoritarianism is tricky to define; de facto, Stalin was only (until 1941) the General Secretary of the Communist Party; he didn't actually hold any 'elected offices', etc. But de facto, he had total control of the state, which itself was extreme-left in its laws and self-understanding. Does a belief in equality necessarily mean that undemocratic solutions are illegitimate? The US left has been happy to use our very anti-democratic Supreme Court to pursue its ends; we hear a lot about how democratic states with regimes our left doesn't like are somehow failing at democracy or sliding into fascism. At the end of the day, I think authoritarian rule is inherently more right wing; because those ideologies are more accepting of the idea that one man may have privileges that you don't. If you are on the left, there has to be at least a fiction that everyone's voice matters (it doesn't actually matter).
Interesting thought until you remember he was the leader of the communist party and was a true believer.

Everything he did was in the pursuit of communism which has no classes, no private property, and everything is supposed to be equal.

he used his authoritarian power to advance something that is off the charts left wing

Naw thats the mainstream lefts view. They got the mickey mouse version.

The few right wingers that love Brother Malcom see him for he was - a man with very conservative values who believed in using his God given rights to seek self-determination against an oppressive government.

That's all true. The distinction was that Stalin had to pretend to be a democrat. The king of France never pretended.

For example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1937_Soviet_Union_legislative_election

JV Stalin said:
Comrades, to tell you the truth, I had no intention of making a speech. But our respected Nikita Sergeivich dragged me to this meeting by sheer force, so to speak...Of course, one can make a light sort of speech about everything and nothing...I have been nominated as candidate, and the Election Commission of the Stalin District of the Soviet capital has registered my candidature. This, comrades, is an expression of great confidence...For my part, I would like to assure you, comrades, that you may safely rely on Comrade Stalin...You may take it for granted that Comrade Stalin will be able to discharge his duty to the people (applause ), to the working class (applause ), to the peasantry (applause ) and to the intelligentsia. (Applause.)...The forthcoming elections are not merely elections, comrades, they are really a national holiday of our workers, our peasants and our intelligentsia. Never in the history of the world have there been such really free and really democratic elections -- never! History knows no other example like it...our universal elections will be carried out as the freest elections and the most democratic compared with elections in any other country in the world. Universal elections exist and are also held in some capitalist countries, so-called democratic countries. But in what atmosphere are elections held there? In an atmosphere of class conflicts, in an atmosphere of class enmity...Here [in the Soviet Union] elections are held in an atmosphere of collaboration between the workers, the peasants and the intelligentsia, in an atmosphere of mutual confidence between them, in an atmosphere, I would, say, of mutual friendship...our elections are the only really free and really democratic elections in the whole world...

What do you know about immigration policy in the Middle East?
the moment Obama sat on his chair Egypt started burning(not recovered), Syria until this day (1.8m refugees in Jordan(not because Jordan is nice))
Yemen, Lebanon are just another few examples

until this day people still cant see that Obama was evil(there is such thing), sooner or later you will notice it

So what is your understanding of Malcolm's beliefs? Keep in mind, we're discussing a man that supported reparations in the form of money and land, total equality under the law (in intent AND effect), autonomy of black cultural centers to include municipal and even state government in appropriate number, and outright resistance (armed or otherwise) in the event that these things are not furnished to us in a timely manner.

Professing to be a conservative when Malcolm detested everything you stand for is generally an indicator of one of two things: you not understanding Malcolm X very well, or you simply not being a conservative.

I'm new here can you explain the game?

the players do tasks on a ship. Two players are secretly bad guys who kill the other players. It’s the other players job to vote the bad guys out before they kill most of the crew.

Pretty sus to even ask that.

Few things set me off but the amount of people who just say “x is sus” without anything else drives me crazy.

I love watching people play that. But I got to imagine I'd be pretty terrible at playing it.

It’s a pretty simple game. I think being the bad guy takes a little more skill but even the learning curve on that is pretty quick.
