If you can just crush Trump in the debates, as Bartlet did to Richie, then you’ve won. (That’s not an exaggeration of the worldview. Ezra Klein published an article entitled “Hillary Clinton’s 3 debate performances left the Trump campaign in ruins,” which entirely eliminated the distinction between what happens in debates and what happens in campaigns. The belief that politics is about argument rather than power is likely a symptom of a Democratic politics increasingly incubated in the Ivy League rather than the labor movement.)

Good lord is that piece terrible. I guess it's proof that leftist idiots can misunderstand liberals as badly as rightist idiots can. I was going to say that it reads like something from Jacobin, but apparently the guy does write for them.

The account the stout used a word with a u like how a Canadian or british person would rather than American. Think it was like colour or neighbour. I quoted him asking why he would write it like that. He didn't respond.

That's exactly the case , the current liberal government has veered from scandal to screw up to scandal and is still favoured if an election were called and that's with a three way vote split on the left and no opposition from the right for the CCrap's.

The come here for affirmation of their nutty views because it's hard for them to find up here .

I guess I'll do a longer reply, but it's knocking down strawmen, annoyingly sneaking false assumptions in, the tone is insufferable, etc. Reminds me a bit of James Taranto.

Which is stupid, really. Your number gets out and you start getting hammered by spam calls non stop, your options are to change the number and risk losing access to important things or just deal with the spam forever.

Yeah the bigger cannons were basically mobile artillery but there was weapons that could be fired from a moving camel.

I mean 25 people don't just fight a camel for six hours with out a hydration break. Unless they wore camelbaks.
