the fact that almost the entire movie is practical effects I'd say give it another shot.Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it but I couldn't get in to Fury Road. All I remember is "rrrrnnnnnn brrrnnnnnnn screeeeeech brrrrrrrrrnnnnn" Should I give it another shot?
To me action sequences in movies are like guitar solos. A great one can go on a while and still be great, but the best ones say their piece succinctly and get back to the song (or movie).

This week in self awareness
That's that Clive Owne where humans no longer can have kids but he sneaks a single pregnant lady out of Europe right?Ever see Children Of Men?
It’s too late, but I gave you a nickname.Nope. Just saying hi and thanks.
Edit: oh shit I just realized how that looked. I meant nothing by it, I should have split the comments about the OT, after which I was trying to give a homey South Park welcome, from the one about the thread title. There was no intended link between one and the other.
I see that and I raise youDawn of the Dead
The Hills Have Eyes
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Always felt this movie was trying to be that:
Yup
The movie I thought was pretty well known but it always surprises me how people I talk to haven't seen it.Really good book and interestingly enough it's all an analogy for Christ. Michael Caine was great in the movie too.
That single shot tracking scene when they're running through the refugee camp was incredible.
Yeah it was super popular I thought but same, really good movie though with a great premise. The movie I thought was pretty well known but it always surprises me how people I talk to haven't seen it.
I always get Children of Men confused with Boom of Eli
Dawn of the Dead
The Hills Have Eyes
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

That's a big plus for me as someone who came of age in the 80s, thanks.the fact that almost the entire movie is practical effects I'd say give it another shot.
Nope. Good?Ever see Children Of Men?
For every few that's good you have an army of terrible horror movie remakes and reboots. Probably the worst industry that does it.
Poltergeist (lololol)
Friday the 13th (lol)
Nightmare on Elm Street
Halloween
The Omen (lol)
Day of the Dead
Carrie (lol)
Psycho
Whatever else I'm forgetting off the top of my head
Horror remakes/reboots are doodoo most of the time man.
I love Sam Rockwell but that Poltergeist remake....
Friday the 13th - $92.7 mil on a budget of $19 milI see that and I raise you
