And you think I was in a "fit of rage"? Based on what?

He first challenged me to an "IRL" competition. I suggested a fist fight. That's a natural choice on an MMA forum.

I'll offer him the same contest now. I view unarmed combat as a legitimate form of competition between two men, like chess or arm wrestling.
Challenging the person you are arguing with to an irl fight means you're gotten to, plain and simple. It's a basic rule of forum life.

You know one critically-mediocre movie that I really enjoy?

Year One with Jack Black and Michael Cera. I think this movie is fucking hilarious. There are so many Michael Cera deadpan moments that get me.

I don't remember liking it all but there was something at the beginning with Cain and Abel that made me laugh

Yeah? Never saw it- typically anything Jack Black is a pass for me. But I do like your other picks in the comedy department.

Funny enough as it pertains to our previous conversation, Michael Cera IS from the same city as soulcrusher

One who brings up "basic rules of forum life" is most likely out of touch with the real world.

but it's not out of touch with the real world to challenge somebody on the internet to a fistfight

(much less somebody who would easily stomp the dogshit out of you)

He challenged me to "anything in real life". In proper Sherdog spirit, I chose a fist fight. What's the problem?

Haha, that's one of the only scenes that I don't think is very funny.

The dialogue between Black and Cera has a lot of really subtle humor, though. And some of the biblical references are pretty funny. The scenes with Cera and Oliver Platt kill me.

It's definitely not my usual type of comedy, and I generally don't like Jack Black either outside of a select few silly comedies.

I feel for Cera. The guy has legitimate comedic talent, but he was kind of doomed to have his roles narrow into oblivion has he got older. Apparently he's a super nice guy too.

His role in End of The World was amazing, considering how nice he is in real life. I love how he was cool with Rihanna's condition that she can slap him in the face in exchange for doing the slap her ass scene.

There were some legit funny parts and some creepy, weird parts, but if I'm flipping channels and it's on I usually stop for a bit. The Abraham circumcision scene was good. "The tip is my favorite part". "The tip is your only part".

O trying to woo his cave-chick was funny.

Most scenes with this guy were creepy and hard to watch...

"Trump-supporter-like-people"?

Trump supporters are close to 50% of the population at this time according to the RCP average.

I predict that figure will reach 50% at some point in Trump's presidency.

I'd bet against Trump approvers hitting 50%, but you know that that's not who we're discussing.

Yet you are writing as if "Trump-supporter-like-people" are a small minority of wackos. They're the majority.

No. That's referring to, at other times, like people who thought that Eisenhower was a secret communist and that Catholics were going to sink America.

Hmm. I like Cera, but it didn't look appealing.

If you like deadpan humor or were raised Christian, it's good stuff. It's basically a comedic retelling of the Book of Genesis. But it's not like it has any emotional depth: it's pretty arcade-y.

It's usually when Cera gets the punchline that it cracks me up.
"I'm going to rise to the top and you're going to be my right-hand man."
"I've seen what you do with your right hand, no thank you."

Haha, I didn't think any of it was creepy. Seemed really light hearted throughout. I also really like Oliver Platt (the actor in the gif) and the scenes with Cera being his oil rub slave crack me up.

Just reading that got a chuckle out of me. Cera's delivery always gets me.

Yeah, Platt is great, actually. A Time To Kill is probably my favorite of his roles. He's Funny in Year One, but the character creeps me out. And that hairy, oily body rub...

Chuck has nothing to gain and will have to hear about it forever when tito knocks him out.

I agree, aside from a payday, Chuck is going to regret this one. While in their prime, Tito was no match - chuck has CTE, hasn't been active for a long while and Tito looked somewhat passable in his bellator run
