it was invigorating.
Yeah, there's a reason I haven't really felt like talking about semiconductors over the last couple months. Remember this? He worked for Microchip Technology, one of the many firms that manufacture in Phoenix Metro and is actually headquartered here as well. I gleaned some great insight from that relationship, even went with him to a party the Founder and CEO threw at his $16 million mansion.
Anyway, article title is a little bit dramatic because they could always reconsider. As things stand now, most of these fabs will remain in operation for another decade and Fab 42 is brand new. If they "outsource" to TSMC, it'll likely be quite literally down the street given recent developments.

You should post this in the AMD fanboy thread: https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/intels-f.4083915/page-8I also don't think people understand the sort of burden that Intel carries. Given the scale, complexity and competitiveness of the industry in 2020, it's damn near impossible on an innovation front and extremely capital intensive on a financial one to take on both advanced chip engineering and manufacturing process technology, almost nobody can do both anymore. Intel does both, and maintains complete end-to-end independent control of its products but that comes with an incredible amount of strain.

I can't say I do.Question: Do most people have a list of their favorite porn stars? Who are some of the big names these days?
That sounds really interesting actually, at the least the setting. I've thought a Muslim equivalent along the lines of what we talked about in some other thread, intentional communities of religious conservatives based around self reliant and sustainable living, would be a neat premise. Something similar to Rojava in the sense of it popping up in the context of the break down of central state power and sandwiched between hostile nation states. But I imagined it more of a series of slice of life vignettes rather than a detective story.Michael Chabon wrote a Jewish detective novel that was really fucking amazing (set in a fictional Sitka Alaska that had been made to a temporary Jewish refugee site in 1941 and had become a Jewish metropolis with an uncertain political future by the time of the story). Top 10 of the 2000s so far, IMO. I think a Muslim Big Sleep could be a lot of fun, too.
Don't you tag me and nac all the time in right wing circle jerk threads all the time? Practice what you preach brother.and @Jack V Savage , I respect you and I'm asking this in the kindest manner possible...if you don't mind...please don't tag me in this forum anymore. I have no patience for the racist, and partisan driven WPEM here.
Immediately after this he tagged me and a couple others back in the protesters in the road thread to all us racist and then never respond againDon't you tag me and nac all the time in right wing circle jerk threads all the time? Practice what you preach brother.

In case anyone is looking to buy in Toronto.

Living downtown anywhere just sounds like a nightmare on the old pocketbook.God, I wish my property tax was that low.
Downtown Toronto has a lot of low taxes on places in the core because they are just so damn old that even with increases over the years the rates haven't caught up to what newer houses pay.

I’d rather live downtown right now. I could walk to my office and either a Harmon’s grocery store, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or the Fresh Fish Market every day. I’d legit save money and only pay slightly more in rent a month.Living downtown anywhere just sounds like a nightmare on the old pocketbook.
Salt Lake City, right? I hear it is getting more expensive there.I’d rather live downtown right now. I could walk to my office and either a Harmon’s grocery store, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or the Fresh Fish Market every day. I’d legit save money and only pay slightly more in rent a month.
EDIT:
I’d love to be able to afford any of the downtown condos though.... too bad they’re like 2 mil.
