It cuts the other way for politics. For media, sure, there's already an overabundance of asshole white guy conservatives, so the demand is for hacks like Owens. In actual political office, it's still a white man's game, though. Like Josh Hawley. He didn't have to do anything but flash his Yale degree to get Missouri Republicans to buy him a spot as Attorney General and then effortlessly transition that into being the state's Senator. It's that easy for a person of minimal pedigree in a red state.

I see you guys are talking about Tiktok I haven't used that vid app but I see that being cross posted to Youtube a lot.

It does not appeal to me since it seems its mostly used by young adults to post random stuff.

Well anyway has any of you seen Wechat? I am thinking of getting the app and maybe get some online friend from China.

I think WeChat is just a messenger that would help you talk to someone internationally easier. I can’t remember if I used that or something else for the Korean friends I have. I don’t see a big deal in using it. TikTok is less to connect with friends and more just viral videos kinda like Vine.
