I remember the threads about Obama sending the national guard in to arrest people. Not one word from the supposed freedom loving right.
It's fucking ugly up here right now man. This shit is getting dark.

Update for anyone not following:
That dude i've been riding in the Redskins thread just declared me "The Ultimate Socialist".

I've finally found my pro-wrestling name

Was not a fan of that exchange. Dude is a miserable dancing partner. Amerikuricana is a much funnier and less annoying foil.

Feel like a train of trains ran a train on me. Coughing a bit now, short of breath. If this isn't COVID kicking in, it's a damn fine prank. Can still taste these delicious ass enchiladas though.
Pedialyte and melatonin

A lot less funny for observers, no doubt
He's no Larry
But my investment in the subject itself makes it quite savory

Stsy safe bud.
We've had to mostly avoid going anywhere with crowds because we don't want to risk catching corona and giving it to my wife's mom (has cancer). I legit think being forced to sit on the sidelines may have saved us getting stuffed in an unmarked van.

Accidentally posted this in another thread thinking it was the lounge.

Anyway lmao. @Kafir-kun you baked yet?

Yes, just caught up on the Kattar vs Ige card

6/10, probably won't watch again. That video on the other hand I will watch many times. In my utopia that would be the primary form of transportation.

I searched for those videos on FB. All the comments and all the likes are people cheering on the cops. And you know it's the same pussies that concern trolled nonstop about Obama.

Bro I don't know if you play Fallout: New Vegas (Which I'm about to make a new character and play now, you inspired me lol) the way I play Fallout:New Vegas, but I meander through the Mojave. Eating and sleeping as I go (survival mode ftw) and getting to know each faction and the characters in a strict roleplay. The humor, art direction, the darkness of the stories, the ability to play a character as you please. Melee raider? That's your life now. (fuck Legion) agree with the NCR? Get to know their story and help them fight Legion off the dam. You want to be a charismatic alcoholic and take New Vegas for yourself? Go right ahead. The lore of the game. Fantastic. Hunting through personal notes and letters and holotapes to see what the world was like before the bombs fell. Not to mention the stories of the skeletons from the bombs are often the biggest indicator of what happened, some with a handgun in their hand and empty bottles of liquor next to him slumped against the wall, or skeletons clutching each other next to an empty crib.

I will say I prefer 3 in a lot of regards to how they portray the brutality of the world. The Capitol Wasteland is a much more fucked up place than the Mojave. Also fun fact, I've never been able to play an evil character in a Fallout game. Never blown up Megaton, never sided with the Legion, abandoned the Brotherhood of Steel when I found out that they wanted to wipe out sentient AI and murder all forms of ghouls and mutants.
Not all video games are art , not by a long shot but In my opinion some do deserve to be called art .
Like I said its not a slight at games or anything, I'm just trying to get at what the core function is for the consumer and games to me are more "toys" since you actively play with them. That's not to make games sound childish, paintball or dirt bikes or jet skis would similarly be classified as "toys" in this sense as well. A movie or piece of music is a discrete experience, a game really isn't in the same way. So to stick with FNV as the example your run through the Mojave can be a direct line through the main quest or involve a bunch of detours to side quests or DLC(Dead Money was my favorite by far, best part of FNV IMO). This applies even to games that are linear and not like FNV though. Think of Half Life 2, if you play it five times will every run be the same? They may be similar in that you'll struggle at the same parts perhaps but it'll be at least slightly different each time. That makes games very different from film or music or literature. This is a key difference that should be embraced rather than taking the path towards movie games where developers try to make games that are cheap imitations of Oscar bait movies.
