There's now a rightie and a lefty thread on some random no significance person being asshats saying racist things to someone, but no one actually getting hurt

That’s how the process is suppose to work instead of this new lounge trend of not pointing it out to mods at all, coming into the lounge, and talking about how those posts must be allowed since they are up. I’m not pinning this on you but there is way too much complaining in here about posts that should be moderated when they aren’t even reported. It makes zero sense why it’s happening if posters actually want things addressed. The lounge isn’t a report queue. Of course you can discuss those posts and how awful they are here but you’re missing a key function when you don’t report it.

Please report it at the very least before pointing to a double standard when moderation didn’t even get a chance to address it.

(C) The few times I've reported posts in the past, no action was taken

But mostly, (D) rather than report individual cases, I'd prefer the same latitude/protection be extended to left wing posters, which simply isn't the case due to right wingers being more report-happy (for sure) and moderators naturally seeking a sense of false balance (I think).

@Lead what do you think of this double under defence? I went to the evening class for the first time, and everyone was spamming the double under pass instead of the knee cut, which is favoured by the morning guys. I need a go-to and the usual arm attack has never really worked for me.

I thought we all were pretty aligned on reports in the WR being anonymous cause I agree it can ruin the system if people get publicly shamed for it. If you notice that isn’t the case, you could let me know and I’ll just mention that case with the group.

Acronyms, numbers and letters in parentheses, this stuff is gobbledygook to me. It sounds like an organization that doesn't pay any money to the government is now getting money from the government - because it's a non-profit complaining about loss of profits. Am I missing something or is this a bunch of people running around with handfuls of money screaming "Suckers!" over their shoulder? Assuming that I've got the proper gist, I'll say that this isn't exactly the type of shit that will ingratiate people to Rand and Objectivism. That this is how the ARI is "helping" the Rand/Objectivism "cause" is...unfortunate. This is the type of shit that makes people like Trotsky feel justified in their disdain.

If only there were a super cool academic by day and Sherdog mod by night who was in a position to write a book on Objectivism for a major academic press in the near future that could dispel all the bullshit and actually convince people that Rand's philosophy of Objectivism isn't Kool-Aid for crazy people despite the number of crazy Kool-Aid drinking people who like her/it...

There's a post in the seattle car ramming thread that not only professes enjoyment at watching someone be killed, but calls for more people to be killed in the same way. This poster hasn't been carded, the post hasn't been deleted. I wonder what would happen if I made a post saying that we should kill cops.
