The Masked Singer is such a disgusting show.

First time I ever saw it, outside of commercials. The intro is pure "Idiocracy". Which rich celebrity is behind the mask? Will the other rich celebrities on the panel guess it right? Oh' my God, one got it right last week!

Good Lord.

I don't have studies on hand but I am pretty sure its well studied and I would take that over your experience. To be clear here I am not saying that therefore people shouldn't engage in martial arts. If you're a not very aggressive person then start training and become far more aggressive but you keep that aggression within the controlled setting of martial arts then I don't think that's a problem even though your total aggression levels increased and it could be a net gain given the health benefits of physical activity.
It’s a cultural thing, imo. I am not talking about an outlet for aggression. Though I do think getting your ass kicked by people you have to see and train with over and over again is part of the equation. Of course,!where you train and who with makes a big difference, too.

Whatever makes you happy.

I think we both know that entails a miserable forum for a lot of people. We can find a common ground, it is my generous gift to you.

Al Pacino sitting in the kitchen shooting the shit with his sister about mob tactics has to be the cringiest jump the shark sequel fail I have ever seen.
That gif is the only thing I remember about the movie other than it sucked.

Lol, ok man. I don’t see the hate and self emascu-whatever happening anywhere in real life, so I cannot relate. It’s not about being able to fight, and also I think you are underestimating the sexiness. You’re a Manny fan so I know there is good in you. I will help if I can.

No I totally did the sexiness aspect of it...I'm a vane motherfucker...probably why I've stuck with crossfit so long

Had a great workout. I let my hatred for leftist scum motivate me in knocking out a couple additional reps.

Might take up muay Thai....this year assuming gyms reopen

Take up Muay Thai, it will help you destroy people greatly. The ability to throw hard leg kicks and clinch is unrivaled across the arts.

It's not, though.

That's a statistical misconception because St. Louis is an independent city. For Chicago, NYC, LA, etc. the crime rates are spread across the entire county into which the city is merged. In St. Louis, the city is politically independent from the county. Suburban areas have much lower population density, higher incomes, and therefore lower crime rates. So the suburbs "dilute" the overall crime rate for the city.
Sure. That makes sense. All these murders are in a few gang ridden blocks, not spread throughout the city. Same with Milwaukee, which has the same gangs as Chicago and is similar to Chicago with a "dilution" of stats.

Sounds like an interesting story, got a link I could read on it?

I read an article about it quite a while awhile. I'll try to find it tomorrow.

I tried to be lazy, but I just found a Wiki article saying they came to prominence in the early 70s (which lines up), but doesn't go into detail.

Catharsis is a very popular idea and its plain wrong. Engaging in aggression to let off steam doesn't lead to less aggression, it leads to more aggression. You don't have like an aggression meter that needs to be drained every once in a while, rather your thoughts and patterns of behavior get reinforced the more you engage in them.

Hhm, this is an interesting point. I feel that I definitely cool down after some rounds on a heavy bag, especially if I'm doing power rounds. But then again, this would be done for me here and there. I guess if it became and every day thing it would become detrimental, not only to my technique but also my overall psyche. I have always felt men should be calm and collected, it is the most natural way. But I would argue there is a time for unrivaled emotion through power, anger and lust.

Yes, I would likely be a Sith.

St. Louis, Baltimore, and (IIRC) Carson City are the only major independent cities in the country.

I don't understand. If I'm not mistaken, in the United States real name and legal name are synonyms. Unless you legally changed your name to something silly like War Machine.

His crusade wasn't really War Room-related though, right? Wasn't he complaining about threads being allowed in the Mayberry that should be in the War Room? As in he wanted to insulate himself from political retardation.

Philadelphia is it's own county as well.

Seeing a lot of hate and self emasculation in the world and it pisses me off. And seeing the legitimization of racism and judging people for how they infuriates me more...

Muay thai....maybe some BJJ. I keep on hearing that's more cerebral.

I already know how to fight but I need to hone my skills...because it's only a matter of time before I'm put in a situation where I cannot walk away peacefully ...

You ever trained any fighting arts? If you haven't and you want self defense, take up Boxing. There is nothing better than a medium ranged striking art with fast powerful strikes from all angles while maintaining balance so you don't get taken to the floor as easily as with kicking. Also boxing will make you tough as you'll spar, and get used to flinches, feints and lots of hard shots coming your way. You'll likely meet a lot of thugs and tough assholes in a boxing gym too, this isn't a dojo.

Wasn't there some absurd helicopter chase as well?

It went full "Scarface", while forgetting that it wasn't "Scarface".

Done boxing, TKD and a little BJJ.

Boxing I've found to be the most adaptable to street fights

K.

You done or do you need more attention from a superior human?
Listen here Palis, you pulled the ultimate bitch move of reporting me to the mods because I called you a mean name and it hurt your feelings. Whenever you engage me or anyone else on this forum and try to play it like you're a badass I think everyone should know that you're a whiny dripping cunt. Thanks, drive through, and enjoy a parting gift...

Provolone or American.

Don't let any south Philly degenerates tell you differently.

I prefer American, mind you I have never actually been to Philly. To me, the Cheese Steak is like a junk food treat and the American cheese just has a certain tang to it that compliments the onions and everything. Provolone is great to, but I just think it belongs on a different sandwich.
