War Room Lounge v140:(redacted)

He was emotionally unstable, and I believe was legitimately mentally ill and was pretty open about it in years past. According to one of the mods, he allegedly went to them with an ultimatum, that they either enforce his rules about where topics should go, or ban him. They granted one of those requests.

That's unfortunate. I never really interacted with him but he had a pretty decent sense of humor.

Like most, he was totally fine outside of the War Room. He just went on this weird crusade at the end there. I actually thought he was only half serious about the threads not being where they should, but from what I've heard, he took it deadly serious.

@Trotsky @panamaican @Quipling

And almost anyone else (couldn't remember who else is an attorney around here).

But just generally... am I wrong for being a little irked about the last requirement on this list?

https://law.byu.edu/departments/admissions/admissions-info/acceptance-criteria/

The list for those curious that don't want to click the link:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • LSAT, GRE or qualify under LSAT exemption policy
  • Sign up for LSAC and CAS
  • Submit application through LSAC which includes (College transcripts, personal statement (two pages about self), resume, Letters of Recommendation (prefer two professors but can use professional references from "non-traditional candidates")
  • Two-Leader Ecclesiastical Endorsement (LDS applicants (doesn't apply to me). NON LDS APPLICANTS:
NON-LEDS applicants need an endorsement from a member of clergy from their own faith (or a local LDS Bishop) and from the non-denominational BYU Chaplain

How the fuck does someone like me that didn't GO to BYU for my Undergrad and ISN'T religious at all fulfill that last one? I get they're a private school so they can set standards how they want but that just seems like a trap designed to get more people to convert. DAMNIT. It's the only night law school option near me. If I went to University of Utah I'd have to basically take out a massive loan and leave my job.

Move out of Utah Greg, there's a world of opportunity out there. Trucks and guns galore, check it out.

I literally just got here a year ago for a new job.

I just wish the only option for law school for me that would let me keep my 40 hour a week job WASN’T a Mormon private school.

Are you still fat?

I don't see why a Karen has to be a woman , if a man is being an angry entitled bitch I think they can be a karen .

Trump for instance often resembles a Karen imo

Trump is a Larry. Well, 1/2 Larry and 1/2 Todd.

And, no, Larries are not the male Karen. They're the male Kelsey. Male Karens are, as I believe Fawlty correctly decided, Kenneths.

Didn’t realize it was a year ago the timing of Masvidal vs Askren

Also, Askren changed his twitter name to Ye? That’s a Kanye reference right ?

Yeezy
Yeezus
Ye

Basically the Kanye West Holy Trinity of Son, Father, and The Holy Spirit

Doesn't matter man, don't be tethered by a job.

Dude you're in the wrong place. Come to Charlotte NC, I can hook you up with a sweet bouncer job to pay the bills, a cool pad, and time to study for your law degree. Plus Southern girls like big strong fellas, you'd do great. What the fuck are you doin in Utah man?

They spelled my name wrong for my new ID at the DMV and the lady asked me if I was sure it was spelled wrong. I'm so baked I actually thought about it for a second.

This Perry mason show on hbo is soooo bad. So try hard to be edgy and complex. I’m embarrassed for them. Is there a writers’ strike?

Same. Never really watched the guy. But he and I have a lot of similarities vis a vis his mental issues, and we are about the same age.

I didn't watch him much in his earlier career, yet I always knew of him and I watched him whenever he was on in more recent years. His IRL streams were some of the best content ever on twitch. He was a huge influence on gaming/twitch/internet culture even if you didn't follow him religiously and I think that's why everyone is feeling this so much.

Really sucks.
