If I lived by myself I would like a nice set of stainless pans. I just don't trust my roommate or his girlfriend to not destroy pans I have and shit.

Like, he has 3 Dalstrong knives and when we have steak we all tend to slice it up before plating as we don't have a table to really eat at so slicing while having the plate on your lap can be a bitch.

I have seen her slice up a steak and take the bladed side of a knife and HEAR that "scrap" sound to slide the sliced meat off the fork. I have also seen him use BBQ tongs similar to these:

In a Teflon pan. Cast Iron is hard to care for which means the girlfriend won't touch it cause she is scared to cook anything that isn't frozen and can be thrown in an oven or microwave and my roommate won't use the Cast Iron cause he's lazy and insists on cooking any meat he makes on the Traeger grill.

I ain't buying nice kitchen cookware while I am living with other people.
