Really looking forward to the upcoming Megadeth album. (Is that still what they're called? LOL)

Dirk Verbeuren is a monster drummer and hopefully he'll bring out the Rust in Peace from everyone. Of course I think pretty much every fan is always hoping for some more Rust in Peace. Kiko Loureiro is outstanding also, this is a great Megadeth lineup. Chris Broderick was certainly excellent but his playing felt robotic to me.

I've been a fan of every Drummer they've ever had, I don't think technical ability has every been a weakness for them.

Nope. I see mostly older people wear masks here.
People are pretty good at keeping distance.
And I am sure if people was told to wear masks they would (or most would).

It's ironic. The people that pretend it's 1776 over facemasks are also the ones that say "just listen to the police, especially if you're innocent, they're on edge and might not kill you" which is something a poster here said about Elijah McClains murder. Despite the fact he was HIGHLY autistic.

In the US and you have some form of mental Illness your likelihood of being murdered by the police goes up exponentially.

Kiko came in when the last album was pretty much already written (for the most part).

the next album Kiko is going to have a LOT more influence. I can't wait.

I've heard a some cuts from Kiko's solo stuff, it really dig it. I know it's a somewhat subjective metric, but he has great "feel" to go with the technical ability. He also seems like a chill mofo in his interviews. As a musician who has spent many hours in bands with assholes, that means a lot to me.

Mustaine has for sure never fielded anything other than a stellar lineup. As far as drummer/guitarist pairings, I'd rank Menza/Friedman at the top and DeGrasso/Pitrelli at the bottom, personal preference of course.

Hearing the Elijah McClain recording broke my fucking heart, man. The kid was literally telling the cops that he loves them and begging for forgiveness, even though he did nothing wrong.

People are pretty insane with the cop strike bullshit. If the police wouldn't kill unarmed people there wouldn't be protest. Instead of calling for police reform, they want the police to strike, so that the citizens will just want them back to brutalize people. FFS police reform is desperately needed in America.
