I really wish my gaming PC wasn't broken :(. Skyrim VR is amazing and all but lack of mod support is annoying.

And I would much rather play Fallout VR but they won't release it for PS4.

Um...Skyrim VR is based on SSE. Now that SKSE64 is out, any mods that work for special edition should work on VR.

If you're using a PC, that is.

dont know why u guys focus on tv appearances, policies and actions are what matter imo

Of course policy matters, but not being braindead or looking like you're gonna die tomorrow matters too. The point was Biden has been looking great lately, which defeats the argument that he may not be capable or coherent enough to run a country.

@HockeyBjj Yes, I'm "likes" policing. Yes, I'm disappointed in you for liking this post:

I finally can say that a black lives matter event is addressing what I have been saying all along: that the biggest threat to black lives is not the police, but other black people.

After a weekend of celebrating Juneteenth, a shooting left at least two dead and others injured after people were run over by cars fleeing the scene. A march is planned for today with a banner that reads “how can we expect others to care about black lives if we don’t ourselves?” Or something to that effect.

Before any criticism, I am not celebrating the shootings, but the response that is looking inward instead of blaming the police and systematic racism for violence. The police killings of Floyd, Taylor, and in Atlanta are wrong. Flat out wrong. But I don’t think the cause was racism, but a response to stimuli presented to overaggressive police that is not representative of the whole. In one case, it was police responding to shots fired in a botched raid. In another, it was an overreaction to a man taking an officers taser, and the other was an officer not caring for a life as he crushed the life out of a man.

Three instances, and there are dozens more that don’t compete with the senseless shootings and Conscious decision to shoot someone that number in the thousands every year. They far outnumber school shootings and are a hundred times more than police killings.

It’s past time to be angry and mobilize nationwide over these killings that are a greater threat than police.

Setting aside that it's just the usual "see?! more black people are killed by black people than cops!" pseudo-revelation that routinely results in dozens or hundreds of moronic threads a year, it's also being propagated by an unrepentant racist who has repeatedly dehumanized racial minorities, referred to them as animals, and defended murderers along cowardly blue-line standards.

Can we discuss how much lawmakers make and how much time off they get? Their 4th of the July is from July 3 to like the 17 and then they get almost all of August off.

WTF

Like was for BLM group at least somewhat acknowledging the problem, not that we should ignore police on minority killings because there’s more black on black killings.

Turning a blind eye to plight of urban violence (I really don’t know what to call it, as it’s not all necessarily gang related, without sounding a little racist so if someone has a better name for a label on large city targeted group but not specific 1 on 1 murder violence I’d like to hear it) is a problem. Yes, there are a lot including the TS there who attempts to use it as a “gotcha” moment to dismiss the violence caused by authority figures in police and that’s definitely wrong and not beneficial at all, but here a BLM affiliated group said to not continue ignoring it to solely focus on the police and I think that was a good thing.

That thread also popped up the same day I saw over a hundred shot, 14 killed, and one of them a 3 year old in Chicago over Father’s Day weekend. There’s got to be a way to at least have a discussion about that problem without being called out as being racist for bringing it up. Yes, I do realize deflecting to that is a common calling card of closet (at best) racists posters. But we can’t just keep ignoring it like this.

Tossed you a like as I’d rather a person bring it up like you did so you can hear my side, than just simmer angrily over something in the background

thats the case with this election, but americans put far too much importance on tv debate performances in all elections, trump promised the earth, had what some considered snappy one liners, but he didnt deliver on any of it. anyone with a brain who researched him could tell he was going to be a collossal disaster. churchill had charisma, but outside of wartime he was a poor politician who was rapidly voted out.
edit, i should say its not unique to US politics, but seems to be more important to the average voter.

Have you seen Snowpiercer?
Yes, it is very good. That's what I'm talking about, where's the current hidden gem? I am on the lookout.

I just bought Howl's Moving Castle because it looks and sounds beautiful, and it looks like it will give me lots of ideas for game world building. It's been around a long time and it's animated, though.

I want a woman who is the human analog of a can of wasabi peas. Or maybe not, maybe I should just enjoy these wasabi peas and not make things weird.

I'm okay with compensation for lawmakers. They're really, really, really, really fucking important, and the perks of the job have to attract good people to some reasonable degree, when most of these people would be doing a hell of a lot better if not in Congress, and the rest will do a hell of a lot better after Congress.

I just want to play Fallout 4 in VR :( it's also super annoying they didn't add mod support for Skyrim VR for PS4. I don't even know what's wrong with my PC.

It was black screening me forever now it won't even turn on.

You're good people.

But I don't think the "blind eye" you described is really a thing. While I agree that some activists are willing to deflect from issues of violence within the black community and insufficiently, even if correctly, place the blame on institutional racism, there is constant ongoing concern over street violence within the black community.

Looks cool. And yeah, Snowpiercer is terrific.

Have you ever seen Equilibrium?

It's not great, but it's solid, and Christian Bale delivers as per usual.
