Hey guys, sensible person here. Long time listener, first time caller.

I'm in favor of universal healthcare, environmental conservation, work retraining, social programs, affordable education, and governmental oversight. However, the Demoncrats aren't calling a bunch of citizens terrorists, so i'm gonna vote for the Republicans.

My question is, how do I stop fucking lying and get the stench of ass off my forehead?

{<hhh]

Antifa is the latest boogeyman but considering how quickly the public shifts between the boogeymen these days, I wouldn't be too concerned about it lasting long. It will only take Trump tweeting about the Chinese Communists once, and the people will be all about that. Which I hope he does, because I do regard Chinese government as much more of a danger than a local group of anarchists.

People these days don't have the patience to commit to something long-term, such as the USSR Communist "Red Scare", which lasted basically half a century in the minds of American people.

Iran was the big issue just a while ago and nobody even remembers that at this point.

Anarchism is not really a relevant school of thought these days. Europe has become very system-dependent. It's difficult for people to envision life without the system, which in fairness, is functioning fairly well. Anarchism tends to pop up as an alternative to systems which are dysfunctional.

Orwell criticized everybody so it's easy for people to pick and choose statements which he made against their political opposition. He criticized communists, socialist "intellectuals", fascists, right-wingers, and even himself. But really, he was just a guy who called out everybody's shit including his own.

Lol I'm actually on my way out to the protest wearing a red/black bandana over my face as I type this (for the covid of course). The antifa boogeyman is extremely peculiar, especially having been such a part of the movement for so long. I still consider myself a part of Anti Fascist Action, it's just wild to see what is essentially a punk rock subculture (here in America anyway. I know Anti Fascists in Europe go fucking hard.) labeled as terrorists when they were much more active during the Indymedia/Bush era, as in they actually had state chapters. Now there's nothing of that sort, yet apparently we're everywhere and plotting the worlds demise lol.

I would say that we're still dealing with Red Scare mentality to this day, socialist is still used as a slur. Interesting about current anarchist schools of thought in Europe. Would you say as far as a nationwide movement the most functional happened during the Spanish Civil War? I don't know much about Anarchists in the rise of the Soviet Union so if you have any literature I'd definitely be down.

And I'm running late but yeah that's one of the things I liked most about Orwell, as a writer he and Hemingway have some parallels in their minimalist style, but his explicit disdain of metaphor is a bit too much for my taste.

Hey @BarryDillon a.k.a. suspected HomerThompson weren't you the previous President of the War Room? What happened, bud? Did a soyout get your previous account banned?
Weird. This is like driving by a group of people who are having a good time, sticking your head out the window, and yelling: "I'm so fucking mad and everything sucks for me right now!"

Drive-by gotten-to's in here are becoming a staple.

@Clippy & his cousin Chippy chillin'

Well, you know you've made it when you're labelled a terrorist group despite not really having a single body that they can attribute to the movement.

I just don't see how they can be rated next to Al-Qaeda or ISIS which have caused massive losses of life with their actions.

You seem hurt and upset that your favorite suspected soy supremacist got caught with suspected ban evasion

What's going on, big guy?

OMG, Magnus Carlsen just destroyed Fabiano Caruana and did the

GOAT AINEC.
Not a fan of the repeat shoosh. The first one at the Sinquefield Cup was singular. But on the other hand, Magnus with a fire lit under his ass is a force and I can't wait to see him in top form again.

You could say that the real source of my problem is that my identity was tied to 'liking' posts, and that was recently taken from me. Now with that gone, I'm not really interesting. Deep down, I'm just another "both sides" hack with Dunning-Kruger. It's been tough for me, man.

Nice cope. What's the next soy armchair psychology you're gonna apply?

Wait, @BarryDillon is suspected to be Homer? Can anyone confirm? Posting style seems pretty different imo.
Any posts mentioning this suspected hypothetical theory mysteriously get deleted within a few hours. He sure seems to have Crave's number, have the same level of soy, and be very sensitive about a specific subject that concerns his person - just like Homer

The soy thing is *chef's kiss*. Kudos. I can't even ding you for the repetitiveness. If I came up with something that good, I'd run it into the ground, too.

Interesting. And that could explain why I hadn't been exposed to the theory. Barry, care to comment?

Actually, we have a hotline straight to Evolve. And we've all been upgrade from 'snitch' to 'confidante'.

No they don’t. It’s just old news. I think back end of 2019 Homer came back as Barry and it was talked about and confirmed, RR (when he was actually a mod) threw a hissy fit about it where he brought up personal life details and made himself into the bad guy rather than Homer, and then things moved on because Barry/Homer isn’t reporting constantly anymore
