Related to this, I was thinking recently: what would the right-wing/rube response to BLM be if the founding phrase was "All Live Matter" rather than Black Lives Matter?

Obviously, just like they've done with the ALM concern trolling shtick of saying BLM is racist and hedging themselves with the claim that they're the ones who really care about racial equality rather than inverting racial domination, they'd find something. But I'm not sure what the boilerplate response would be. It would definitely have to do with the black murder rate, and why the lives of the people killed by black criminals rather than cops don't seem to matter as much, but I'm not sure of the finer details

You then changed the goalposts to include general grassroots activism which I never denied is important and in fact is precisely why I said voting is not enough on its own because it requires that additional activism so as to exert influence over the ballot itself and allow citizens a meaningful choice instead of a constrained choice produced by the systems of power.

I would wager that a great many people who don't like the phrase ''Black Lives Matter'' have, at some point in their lives, wondered, perhaps aloud, ''what's wrong with being proud of your race?''
