Yes, I said once a year, but monthly would be great too, weekly even. The problem is they seem to have to take down the whole forum for hours at a time to do it. Do that too often and it gets to be pretty bothersome.
Then take them away all together. Instead of just likings post, poster will actually haven’t o bother responding to posts.

If this hasn't been posted yet, it's a pretty good microcosm for the dishonesty of right wing politics

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/18/opinion/tara-reade-believe-all-women.html

Related to this, I was thinking recently: what would the right-wing/rube response to BLM be if the founding phrase was "All Live Matter" rather than Black Lives Matter?

Obviously, just like they've done with the ALM concern trolling shtick of saying BLM is racist and hedging themselves with the claim that they're the ones who really care about racial equality rather than inverting racial domination, they'd find something. But I'm not sure what the boilerplate response would be. It would definitely have to do with the black murder rate, and why the lives of the people killed by black criminals rather than cops don't seem to matter as much, but I'm not sure of the finer details

Didn’t even think about that but that definitely made November better.

Let's say someone says something really funny. Do you want a whole forum full of <Dany07><Grimes01><{anton}> when a simple like will do?

This was my original post which you responded to

to which you said

To which I disagreed by pointing out that merely voting, which is what you said in your own words is "literally the best way to make changes", is not nearly enough on its own. You then changed the goalposts to include general grassroots activism which I never denied is important and in fact is precisely why I said voting is not enough on its own because it requires that additional activism so as to exert influence over the ballot itself and allow citizens a meaningful choice instead of a constrained choice produced by the systems of power.
Idk it’s a short post and I figured “make your voice heard to these people” made it pretty clear that I was speaking beyond just passively voting. I don’t think I moved any goalposts, I simply tried to clarify what I meant by that. As I keep doing to no avail apparently. Cheers.

I would wager that a great many people who don't like the phrase ''Black Lives Matter'' have, at some point in their lives, wondered, perhaps aloud, ''what's wrong with being proud of your race?''

I agree we'd get buy just fine, but I found them useful. I'm just saying I'm not in favor of throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Well I can't read your mind so yeah I'm going to respond to the text of your post. Cheers.
