Which part? I just can’t relate I guess. I don’t have a close enough connection to the people who overthrew my people and conquered us. Idk. Nobody is rioting here and I frankly feel like you all are psychotic or something. But I’m not there. I don’t experience it, and frankly I’m glad that I don’t. It’s a weird feeling, like your irresponsible alcoholic parents are fighting outside or something lol. It’s disturbing but doesn’t really directly effect me yet.

Lol, Polynesians in general seem to be laid back, friendly and all though they can handle a good scrap obviously the day to day mood seems to be more about chilling out, spending time with family and enjoying life. You guys must look at America and think they are retarded. Every day, every week every year another riot, war, senseless mass shooting. I say this as someone who lives in Canada, we look at America as sort of a loony bin. Pun intended.

Well, I mean that literally happened to Hawaiians lmao. I’m glad I’m American and have all of the benefits that come along with that, but we didn’t have a choice in the matter. Hawaii was a sovereign nation before the unlawful overthrow by the USA.

I suppose we have different viewpoints on that then. Maybe if the example were changed, this would all make more sense but I just think we found something everyone agreed on and managed to still cause division and violence for little reason.

I think the fact that they weren't arrested (and three aren't) then finding out about that cops past... Society just snapped. Had any of those cops have stopped it, or they be immediately taken to jail, a lot of this wouldn't be happening to this extent.

And the counter to that is that the police aren't held to the same standard we are and that's kind of the point.
