But seriously. Noah may be a comedian but at the same time, I would've expected something better from him. None of his stuff is funny so you'd at least hope he's some great guy who got a good gig. Instead, the asshole goes on social media and pretty much says riots are okay. I don't understand how there is such a big disconnect here with some people.

Pretty simple; people with no skin in the game aren't trustworthy in these situations.

I don't listen to Trevor Noah's opinion on the riots for the same reason I don't take stock tips from people who aren't invested in the stock themselves; he has nothing to lose no matter what happens.

If his neighbourhood in NYC was burning you can bet he would feel a bit different.

I mean, I didn't search for it but it came up in a feed I have. Always heard he has a good (rough) backstory but fuck that. You have influence during times like this and at the bare minimum, you could just shut up but he chooses to do that.
