Do I get any points for my love of Dante's Inferno or James Joyce's Ulysses?

Sure, so long as you keep in mind that the points don't matter.

If you want on the panel, you're in. That would make it a balanced 3-3 on left/right posters.

GNN Exclusive: Literary Review Panel for Limbo Pete-Amerikuracana Writing Challenge Released

After exhaustive vetting, the panel of prestigious War Room posters charged with vetting the highly anticipated literary contest between War Roomers Limbo Pete and Amerikuricana has been officially released.

The seven-member panel is comprised of the following posters:
@TheGreatA (favorite literary work: Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky)
@Jack V Savage (favorite literary work: Lolita by Vladimir Nobokov)
@Gandhi (favorite literary work: The Iliad by Homer)
@Trotsky (favorite literary work: Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre)
@Devout Pessimist (favorite literary work: The New Testament; also, Fifty Shades of Grey)

Although an official scoring rubric has not yet been released, sources say that reviewers will consider clarity, style, grammar, and erotic quality.
Inspired by my earlier crack about my opponent being no Bill Shakespeare, i've decided to make my submission in the form of a play

Hold on to your asses lolololololol

I'm game.

I can't remember who was on my side about this (golf being awful as both a sport and a political artifact). I just remember @HockeyBjj and @kpt018 being on the other side.

Ps, your strategy is exactly what is do. A slow steady 9-10 min mile.

And knock out 20 Cindy's at a moderate pace .

What would you call 50 sets of 2, 4, 6 <45>. I am doing this with zero prep so I am thinking doing a set ~ every 45 seconds over 40 minutes.

GNN

totally forgot about that.

good times.

20 lbs. 40 is within reach though.
I was up 25. I'm on the downward side of the slope now.

Winter gain is normal for me. I considering it part of my hibernation cycle. This year it just came a little late.

It's awful thinking I'm this fat and it is summer.

Make the change my man. There is a lot you can do to workout with no weights at home.

Even Fawlty is doing 20 pulls ups in a row, while grabbing a soda from the garage. There is no excuse for anyone.

So, this is what I get for having a little Sunday movie night with the missus. Left out of the impending arse-kicking.

Ah well, I've got his number so I leave it to you, @Limbo Pete, bit more of a sporting contest; or rather, it would be if he weren't guaranteed to prove yet again how full of shit he is.

On the subject of bias, and in relation to @Trotsky's accurate listing of my favorite novel, note that Nabokov's political views were kind of fucked up to the limited extent he had any. Sent a letter to LBJ earnestly encouraging him to keep up the good work in Vietnam, for example. And didn't vote, claiming no difference between the parties.

James Ellroy, who I think is an excellent writer, has ghastly political views. Probably most great writers are OK in that area, though.
