Yes, the Confederates lost, but that doesn’t mean that they were wrong.

the Confederate Battle Flag was misused during the Civil Rights movement, but it was not a symbol of hate when it was adopted. You might also want to check into how often the Stars and Stripes were used by the Klan. Yet for some reason that gets overlooked.

The only second place trophy we got was Reconstruction. You could chalk that up as a win for the South.
