So, let's lay this out now:
Starting to look like we're facing an economic catastrophe. Good chance that the deficit in Trump's last year (FY2021 starts in October) will be higher than it was in Bush's last year (because of cratering revenue and emergency spending measures). Unemployment will soar. Both of those things will be blamed on President Biden and his radical socialism. Anyone who tries to insert common sense into the discussion will be accused of "blaming Trump." As we start to recover (and it should be a faster recovery this time because of the nature of the collapse), we'll see people saying (wrongly) that it's all part-time jobs and pointing out that U6 is higher than U3 or otherwise claiming that the "real" unemployment rate is much higher than the stats show. It will also be pointed out that average unemployment under Biden is higher than it was under Trump, which will be offered as proof that socialism doesn't work (also, I suspect that it will be hard to find anyone who admits to having ever voted for or supported Trump). And of course in 2028, left-wing YouTubers will be insisting that there is no difference between the Democratic ticket of AOC/Ro Khanna and the Republican ticket of Ted Nugent (who will win the nomination on the strength of his 90% support among Evangelicals)/O.J. Simpson (who will come up short despite his primary campaign slogan of "I'm not black, I'm O.J.").
