So I saw a chunk of that "Running With Beto" documentary HBO made when he was hot shit in the Senate race. He actually seems pretty laid back and down to Earth when he's not cringe campaigning.

...the post fight confirmed it for me. Man if Romero wanted to make it a fight he could have done it. Israel didn’t show me anything special either. Romero chocked and deserved to lose. I would have rather have him be KOd.....I could accept something like that, but just standing there doing nothing for 23 minutes was just disappointing

Trying to bait Israel into doing something stupid and then land a big shot was what I expected from him exactly. Israel wasn't dumb enough to do that, given that he relies on being a counterstriker, too and is the champ.

And still, the fight was actually close. If Romero would've gone all-in in the fifth, he could have even had a chance on the scorecards.
