Man, I understand your wife but part of life is dealing with people with completely different political views, views that are often really offensive. It would probably hinder their friendship at some point, because Hispanic women are feisty and the Confederate woman is a crazy hillbilly.Thoughts from the WR?
So my wife and I have been in the new house for a month and she has started making friends with a woman down the street. Same age, same interests, all that jazz. Anyway, earlier she was talking to her for a bit and helped her bring something from the girls car inside. In the girls car, she says she had a Confederate flag for the back of her head part of the chair. She pretty much was like ''alright I'm out" and just told me now. She's convinced not to talk to her again because she believes it's a symbol of racism and she is Hispanic.
I told her yea if you feel that way get out before you actually become friends. Is she over exaggerating or is the flag Nazi level? She's in pure "I can't even look at them again" mode.

Just so everyone knows.... I'm the BF.I'm good, pops. I have a semi BF of sorts, two other reliable FWB's and a pool of tens of thousands within a few minutes drive from me pretty much any time I feel like it.

I definitely get that, but to her it means ultra racist people who would reenact slavery. Kinda hard to play along lol. I just don't know if it's something that actually does mean that or if it's sore losers still hanging on to great grandpa.
LOL now this is up my alley. Troll response for them on Halloween!
Anybody ever wonder how Jews got so good at brisket, pastrami and corned beef?
