Lol rest assured we will not be moving to AC

In and of itself, sure. But I believe shooters don’t become radical overnight. There are steps to that.

“In my estimation these people commit mass shooting in large part due to the alienation that modern capitalism has created in society. From there they'll gravitate to this or that ideology that tickles their fancy but that's not really the defining factor.”

I’m curious about this. Not sure I heard this theory before. Would you expand on this belief about capitalism causing alienation?
Social media. People see all the crazy shit “influencers” buy and do and what to do that without realizing how much money these people are worth that allows them to do said things.

it's not just that, Social Media is a huge reason why the younger generations have an offset sense of Entitlement, inherently they tend to think they are more important than they are

This is crucial, b/c a normal incel in the past would just suck it up and not get some, pay a pro, just sit there all sad etc...

Now, that is apparently beneath these weirdos, and they are so entitled they firmly believe that innocent people should die as a result. That's next level lack of empathy and valuing human life.

They need to watch Sgt Hartman’s intro:
“You are each equally worthless!”

There is no such thing as Central Jersey.

And Jersey Shore towns geography is based on where the tourists come from.

Philadelphians and South Jersey people go to shore points below AC.

Seaside Heights is the resort town for North Jersey and New York people

@KONG-D'SNT-TAP @22k back me up here

i imagine those south of NJ go to Ocean City, MD as well

that's a huge summer spot in the DMV area and i imagine perhaps lower Delaware as well

we were closer to that, but went to Myrtle Beach for our Senior Trip in 01
My bro was 03, they went to Orlando (same HS as me), i was like wtf haha

Seriously though, as a kid I remember HATING having older parents. Like, my dad was born in 1938 type old and I came of age with Sesame Street and Barney and the first election I could vote in was 2008.

But now, I’m glad I did. My dad never went as extreme as Hartman’s character in Full Metal Jacket but he definitely hammered in the “nothing is ever fucking given to you” mentality that a lot of these mass shooter types seem to not have.

Men have always been more violent, worse at school, less able to control their urges, and the like. Forever. Check how many female valedictorians there were even when there was no options for women in the workplace.
Sure I think there's truth to that, one idea is that men and women have equal average IQs but men have more variance which would explain why women get most degrees but the hardest degrees tend to go to men and why men are over-represented at the bottom in education as well

But I am pointing out the double standard here. If women don't take as many engineering degrees or get hired as software developers as often as men that's seen as a problem but when men perform worse on more fundamental metrics like high school graduation the same feminists don't really seem to care.

And there's also the issue of mental illness. Are men just inherently more likely to be mentally ill? Are we just inherently more likely to commit suicide? Perhaps but there really isn't much of a national conversation on the matter either way, instead we're talking more about why we don't have more female superhero movies.
Any men who buy into their victim hood get no sympathy from me. Be a better man, get help if you need it, but improve yourself. Nobody owes you anything. I have a hard time buying that women have it so much easier than men. Most women I know have to work much harder for worse results than competent men. The issue is that so many men are mooching leaches, thieves or addicts of drug or alcohol.
But we're supposed to endure constant victim hood from privileged women? Don't get me wrong, there are women who are oppressed and sometimes even a privileged women can face oppression. But excuse me if I don't give a shit that upper middle class women don't feel like they're getting promoted fast enough.

As far as working harder for worse results, that may have been the case for women of past generations but I don't think that's the case any more. Like I said single, childless women earn more than their male counterparts and are more likely to be homeowners. Those are are better results I think.

everyone else on my HS senior trip was 18, i graduated at 17 though

So they all went to this club in Myrtle Beach and i had stay back. Ended up flirting w/ these old biker ladies lining the strip as it was Biker Week. Got some beads haha

Nice to see the usual lot defending an image of Thrunberg getting raped.

Capitalism atomizes organic social units, or in other words it breaks up the family. The free movement of labor means that individuals within a family end up moving part to exploit economic opportunities. Which isn't all bad, lots of good comes from that, but taken to its extreme you get a society of people who are together alone. Not only that but we're even alienated from our neighbors wherever we are. Local community institutions have broken down and most people don't even want to make eye contact with their neighbors much less get to know them.

This affects different people in different ways and to different extents. The incels are for whatever reason hit the most hard but I think even average people suffer from this in more subtle ways.
