The prominence of alcohol in hook up and dating culture in general is responsible for a non-negligible amount of sexual assault and rape IMO but both men and women want to keep drinking so the pernicious influence of alcohol on dating and sex gets ignored.

I must be weird.... I’ve never “picked up” a girl at the bar. I’ve driven a couple home and walked them to their door and left but never went past that. It always made me uncomfortable even when I was like in my early 20s.

It’s also probably why my favorite bars are ones I can sit down at and nurse a drink for 2 hours without feeling like I’m imposing or in the way.

That they are going after foreign-born immigrants that have attained citizenship while simultaneously arguing against birthright citizenship kind of takes the veil off of the operation.

Well, it could be both. You can train with ankle weights, but you still wouldn't want to run a race in them.

Anyone who wears that heavy of a costume before a fight is very silly.
