Alcohol is a big factor in public and domestic violence and it gets completely ignored because a large part of the population are alcohol junkies.

Its just too ingrained culturally unfortunately.

you are on a roll tonight buddy. I dont know if you are trollin or not but those are my legit feelings about the shit and I often wonder why people dont call for its removal from society like they do guns . Baffles me that shit can cause society so much grief and no one says nothing.

Well to be fair we tried prohibition once and it didn't work out so well.

But we should treat alcohol like cigarettes. Lots of restrictions on its advertising and awareness campaigns about how bad it is and hopefully eventually we'd generate a culture of shame around it the way we have with smoking.

This could get me kicked out of a wide variety of social circles, but guns > alcohol imo

oddly though, plenty of people that go on the tour don't actually drink Guinness, and so there's a bunch of pints just chilling going to waste

I've always said Prague was my favorite city in Europe (well for a Metropolitan area), but thinking back it might actually be Budapest

well much of that region was the AustroHungarian empire until after WWI, when Czechoslovakia was created

Also this happens, especially w/ how immigration paperwork was filed here in the first half of the 20th Century. I thought, my whole life, that I was majority Irish, as in from like Dublin w/ small Norwegian mixed in. But i found out recently my family is almost exclusively from Northern Ireland, and hence why my dad's name is Tyrone (named after County Tyrone in N. Ireland)

Nothing is good about being overweight. I get no everyone can get into Chris Evans, Hemsworth, or Chris Pratt shape for males of the ScarJo and other contemporaries for females but for fuck sakes, being so big your arm skin hangs like fucking and when your arm is straight there’s an indent where your elbow skin is ISNT GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

I work for an organization that literally has Fat Shaming built into it's core ethos, the US Marine Corps

it's one of hte main things i have to warn people about when they transition out to the public, not Knifehanding people or fat shaming w/ impunity
