I don't think it's going to happen Petey
Too bad Rose got caught during an era when people cared more about the rules.
Like Nixon.

There probably should be but all the Republicans fainted when they saw her rip it up.
Her lack of civility has shocked them into a coma

Man's got a point
@PolishHeadlock2 please see my edit.
Karl Malone, anyone?Fun fact.
John Dowd (yes that John Dowd) also said that Rose committed statutory rape when he was managing the Reds. This comment by Dowd barely got any media attention.
But Rose sued him for defamation and that lawsuit did become a big news story. During discovery it came out that Rose actually did commit statutory rape. He alleges he didn't know she was underage and I kind of believe him because who would knowingly expose themselves to discovery if they know? Well somebody with Rose's hubris might lol
In case you didn't notice, according to Trump, and now to all his supporters as well of course, all liberals and all democrats are crazy left wing socialist corrupt radicals now.
It no longer matters who wins the nomination when it comes to this kind of attack, because Trump will apply the label to all of them. He wants to still be able to use that label even if Bernie is not the nominee. He may be dumb but he's got an strong sense of tactics. Get ready to hear this over and over for the next 6 months until democrats spend all their time explaining how they aren't communists instead of drawing attention to Trump's latest corrupt action.
Karl Malone, anyone?

One of his bastard sons played O-Line for the Eagles for a bit
Please see my post above. You're proved right yet again, as it becomes clear no matter who the nominee is, Trump's got his ad hominem game on lock. The idea that there will be a gigantic difference in the chances of any of the candidates beating Trump just falls to pieces in the light of reality, as does the chance any of them enact any major legislation without having to deal with political reality (something Trudeau learned to his chagrin in his first term.)Trump has the information-security and civility-in-politics votes locked up.

I wonder what the gap in expected chances between the most-electable candidate (Biden? Bloomberg?) and the least (Bernie? Warren?). I agree that it's likely very small, and I think overestimating it is the biggest error we regularly see in electability discussions. The lesson we should learn from Trump winning is that even the most obviously bad candidate can win if he gets the nomination for a major party (it's something that people who study the issue already knew, but Trump should drive it home for the rest of us).
As part of his deal with Bart Giammati he would be allowed to apply for reinstatement , pretty shitty to specify that and then deny him in perpetuity."Any player, umpire, or club or league official or employee, who shall bet any sum whatsoever upon any baseball game in connection with which the bettor has a duty to perform shall be declared permanently ineligible." No such rule about sign-stealing.
I take it he’s not that explosive ?one of my coworkers has a HS aged son, he tried out for the swim team yesterday
it was 41 degrees and windy yesterday evening, and the pool is outdoors

I didn't need you to tell me this, mind; that's why I'm so saddened by this whole 20 candidates nonsense and their inability to focus the voters' attention on their overall goals as a party rather than petty differences between the candidates. Again, drawing on Canada as an example, look at the Conservative Party leadership race where the common belief was that there were numerous viable candidates to replace Sheer, but the reality is it was decided almost right after the election who it was going to be, whether everyone in the party knew it or not. People are stumbling over themselves announcing they will not be entering the race and some quite obviously got told to stay the fuck out or else. One guy even turned his candidacy announcement into a withdrawal the morning of.
If Trump wins a gain, it will be because of this complete failure to work as a team by the Democrats.
What is this weird fetish cartoon you keep posting ???
You can call him a bad candidate, but if we look at his power, he’s untouchable so far. He’s also trolled the entire Democratic Party and gotten away with it. I hope you really do believe Trump is bad at this. I also really hope you think Trump is a one time thing. Even when he is gone, more hands will be dealt.I wonder what the gap in expected chances between the most-electable candidate (Biden? Bloomberg?) and the least (Bernie? Warren?).
