I've only met a Dutch person once in my life. I met a young Dutch couple in Cuba. The husband was in Dutch military and was stationed in Aruba, which is a Dutch colony. They were visiting Cuba.

They were both very nice to me but were exceptionally rude as visitors to the country. On two different occasions during the day I was with them, they disparaged the country and complained about the underhanded culture of Cuban cabbies. To be fair, they're right: Cuban cab drivers are famous for squeezing every penny they can out of you. But at one point the husband loudly proclaimed "I guess lying is just the Cuban way" in front of a long queue of drivers. That pissed me off quite a bit, and I'd probably would have been more confrontational to the guy about it, but he was also like 6'4 and jacked as shit.

Are the rules on sign stealing as clearly stated as gambling though?

"Major League Baseball Rule 21(d) now states that a player faces a ban of one year for betting on any baseball game, and a lifetime ban for betting on his own team. In addition, signs posted prominently in every clubhouse remind players that gambling is not permitted."

There is no evidence he threw games though to my knowledge , it's no different from a fighter betting on themselves .

Cheating to win the world series is pretty bad .

It doesn't matter if he through games. Just betting on the games involving his team results in a lifetime ban per the rules.

I think the argument for him used to be that he only bet on his team as a manager and you go into the HOF as either a player, manager or owner so he should be eligible as a player.

Obviously cheating in the WS is very bad, but I don't know if there is a clear punishment in the rule book like betting on games does

Yeah, Guaido is right. Sanders is the only politician in the US that I would call paradigmatically socialist. Being "radical" in the United States is having a modicum of empathy and an even smaller modicum of intolerance towards nonsensical imperialist propaganda. Hell, we couldn't even get a single politician in the United States that was "radical" enough to call the assassination of Soleimani imperialist aggression, despite it being so blatantly so. And AOC was scared back into line for even slightly tempering praise for Israel in her first year in office. Everyone has to couch their responses to those issues with "well, of course he had American blood on his hands" and "of course, Israel is a valued ally," etc.

Doesn't change that Guaido has no claim whatsoever to the Venezuelan presidency, though.

From what I understand sign stealing isn't even cheating, and if anything it's part of the game at that level, the problem was they used some electronic devices to record/transmit some of that data.

But every team pointing the finger at them is out there scouting signs with binoculars and reviewing game footage while they point their fingers.
