He was one of the reasons for the streak of WEC having the best consistent cards. LW, FW, and BW title fights were always five round wars in that promotion and Torres would put everything out there.

I remember watching WEC, and it was always better than the UFC cards because they were smaller but had to fight harder for a bigger paycheck. All of my friends preferred the smaller fights. Then it got merged, and nobody cared anymore lol
