It's been a weird night. A dude came in and asked if I wanted to do some nitrous, then he told me about a crackhead having part of his hand chewed off by a rat when he was passed out then just bounced.

Then there was a homeless homosexual lovers spat outside my work, then the blind homeless guy who is always being escorted by his friend went past. I guess they had a hobo party up the street that got out of control.

You got those fancy joysticks for the flight sims? I've looked into getting some for Star Wars Squadrons VR.

Yeah my thought here was: maybe the sheer devastation, magnitude and impact of 9/11 have rise to a special kind of creature in the truthers.

You got those fancy joysticks for the flight sims? I've looked into getting some for Star Wars Squadrons VR.

Funny you mention that. Just picked up a Logitech Gpro Flight x56 Rhino Hotas pack, have yet to play around with it though. I've been using a "sidewinder" stick for years, but couldn't tell you the model as markings have been rubbed off years ago. Just so comfy.

I think it has more to do with gun control becoming a political issue defined by Liberal vs Conservative or Dem vs Rep.

Once that happened the conspiracy theories take off about big government wanting to control you.

Gun control was more of a bipartisan issue prior to the 90s.

The 90s was also when we had Ruby Ridge and WACO.

I'll look into getting one. Squadrons in VR is fucking exhilarating and people say it's ten times before better with a flight stick.

the ultra aggressive reactionary lobbying made it a guaranteed win political plank issue, kind of like abortion. It defines people's sense of personal worth.
