It's annoying that people complain so much if a brand puts out a distressed shoe that is a little pricey. Makes it impossible to find a real review, when the Google hits are all along the lines of "can you believe X is making a shoe that costs Y and looks *dirty* when you buy it?

There’s a similar thing for guitars. New and shiny vs. “relic’d”, which is basically a new guitar made to look worn in and old. People who like relic’d guitars don’t really care if anyone likes factory-new aesthetics. But the people who prefer new aesthetics have a real axe to grind with relic’d style.

guys, I just want you all to know I never lie on sherdog. never. not once.

I might have 7 kids.

even though last week I said I had 5.

see.

They are jaded by what quality work used to be made of. They want to sense the value...

You guys have me all hyped for this movie now and I love the cast. Going to buy it this weekend.

Should I got with the cinematic release or director's cut?

It's a good movie, but you probably don't want to go in with "Matrix" expectations. I can see some elements, but it's more of a sci-fi noir flick. More "Blade Runner" than "Matrix", I'd say.

What is your stance on loud motorcycles?
Don't mind riding them, don't like listening to them, and won't follow them. Had a buddy with a loud ass Victory bar hopper type of a deal that made my (bobbed, chopped, pipes, pods, etc) Suzuki GS 1150 seem like an electric bike. Group rides he'd be back of the bus 'n shit cause it was just too much to listen to for any amount of time.

Yeah, a bit of hypocrisy there, but what can I say. *Shrug

I always tail-gun on group rides. Picking up stragglers and controlling traffic is kind of my thing.

I really like the idea because it seems like it would require less maintenance, though the particular ones I was thinking of still do apparently require a lot, which is kind of a dealbreaker.

Nice, I was a mid pack dude, or solo kind of a guy. I haven't been on a bike in probably 5 years. Miss it when the weather gets nice, but our riding season is damned short, gravel is only gone for a few months off the roads here so Calgary drivers just don't see bikes. Sucks, but it is what it is.

didn't watch but did Bidet actually say he wished he was endorsing Shillary for POTUS?

well, that's a pretty confident admission by Creepy Joe.

I've got an old riding buddy (Alberta Sherriff) who lives out there, he's religious about it.

There's actually a sizeable bike community out here. From scooter dorks to track guys to a buddy who rides down to Sturgis every year and all sorts in between. For a place where it's winter for 6+ months of the year it's pretty remarkable. Once you get out of town, especially heading west, there's fun riding to be had.
