Yup, generally go on two cruises with them a year, one shorter one and one longer. My good friend works on their marketing team. Get 20% family and friends discount and some other perks. Plus my wife has a royal credit card for points and such

I've never been on a cruise but my sisters tell me it's a great time. The only one that really piques my interest though would be an Alaskan cruise to see the ice shelf calving.

Nice, we plan on doing that in a few years, once kids a little older. Royal does Alaska too.

We like the cruises cause it has everything, including musicals/broadway like shows, comedy, lots of live music, in addition to the excursions on various destinations, among other things. Lots of stuff for the kids.

Get a LOT for the price, but easy to spend a lot on extras and gambling.

Helps we live in south FL, in between both the Miami and Fort Lauderdale ports. So we don’t have to pay for a flight in addition to the cruise itself

Yeah I think I'd have to fly out to the west coast for an Alaska cruise. I hear the only problem you might have is booking spots for popular restaurants or shows but that it's basically like going to Disney or Vegas. I'm not sure how much the prices have gone up but I think there were really good deals to find after the pandemic.
