Social War Room Lounge Thread #325: PotWR Edition

Side note about louisiana. I saw a video recently showing how to make crawfish bisque thats pretty spot on. When I left Louisiana everybody had crawfish bisque as a kind of soup. This is the real crawfish bisque. My grandma made it my dad made it and now my sister makes it every Christmas.... enjoy.

Should've became a Heat fan when they got LSU alum Shaq.

Shaq is my all-time favorite player. I definitely pulled for him wherever he went. He and I are about the same age and I saw him on campus a few times. So I definitely cheered for him wherever he went and his team.

Thanks. I saw it and instantly thought, "Should I say anything though? I doubt she cares at the moment." But it seemed the proper thing.
No doubt. Might as well get it right out of hespect.

@Cajun the other day someone asked me if we get much snow around here and I said, sometimes, yes. Then, today I came across this photo by pure chance,

lol if trump officially 'authorized' the cia to operate in venezuela, that means they've been for a long time already and were exposed.

and RIP Uncle Bobby, sounds like an outstanding fellow.

The only uncle I remember having a real impact on me was my uncle Dominic. He and my uncle Joe were 'associates' of the Lucchese
family in Bergen County, New Jersey. Joe was impulsive, got jailed for trying to bribe a DA.
Dom was the most reasonable and measured guy. When I was a kid at his house on summer vacation, he related all sorts
of underworld stories while making the weekly sauce. Quiet guy sipping chianti with stunning tales of rivalry, intrigue and vengeance.

Wanted to experience the same things, so I went into police work.

The Ultimate Slapping Champion league is an abomination. It looks like they're going to make an amendment or addition to the Muhammad Ali Act to allow Dana's boxing league too. It's supposed to give fighters more options but to me it feels like making wife beating legal as long as the wife doesn't have any better options. I guess we'll wait to see how it turns out and if it means boxers will have less input choosing opponents and if the organization takes 90% of the pie.
