Social War Room Lounge Thread #325: PotWR Edition

no one wants to be an alarmist, but the future looks void of any semblance of privacy, let alone anonymity.

The 'debanking' of groups or individuals based on party endorsed ideology is fucked up, although it's already occurred,

and the potential to freeze your digital wallet on a whim are the most Orwellian.

I can't remember what show it was, but it was some small British show from way back, that was exploring future tech and they basically said that the gait was gonna become the new fingerprint as CCTV cameras became more and more normal, and set up all these scenarios with special cameras to capture it as the cast tried to fool it with all sorts of means. They couldn't fool it no matter what they tried.

The future is now I guess.
That reminds me of that "Person of Interest" show. It was pretty good if you haven't seen it.

Are they ok?

Just spent 4k on my cat this afternoon to learn he's sick af. His heart is twice the normal size. If he survives the next few days, he has less than a year left in him. Then I learned my brother-in-law, who's had brain cancer for 8 years, entered palliative care.

A fish my BIL and I caught together last time I saw him.

It's been a bad summer. Life fucking sucks right now.

Take care, sherbros. Life comes at you fast.
Damn, bro, you've been taking hard knocks lately. God bless them and keep your spirits up. TANSTAAFL but life is worth the price of admission. You have to take the bad with the good and keep on rolling. 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that. My previous cat had the same issue. About a month after spending 5k to have her on oxygen, she dislodged a clot after getting excited over some fireworks. Despite dying, she did not wake me up in the middle of the night and waited until the morning to call out for help.
God bless brother. One of my best friends had her cat sick for a few months before passing away. It was like losing a son to her since she rescued it as a kitten. She was inconsolable but as they say time heals all wounds.

On my next bank heist I'm going to Gene Kelley Singing in the Rain tap dance my way into and out of the vault...

Judging by this site, if we lose anonymity, were in for a riotous future... <6>

Is that so? I'm really curious to know why a lack of anonymity on here would be such an utter disaster for you.
Because he knows I'd send a crew right over to start building windmills to ruin his view and @Islam Imamate would buy the property next door to build an affordable housing complex... <goldie>

All I'd have to do is buy the property next door and try to convert the garage into an ADU and he'd probably blow a fuse.

damn son, mark yancy is bant.

what did i miss?
Isn't it funny how he lasted less than a week after I pointed out publicly that his sole purpose on this site seems to be to drive traffic for the owners.

Of potentially further interest, like others, he'd frequently tag me into threads in which I had never posted or had abandoned long ago until I told him the next time he did it, I'd report him and to not do it anymore.

Surprisingly, he acceded to my demand. Others, who complained publicly about him but didn't do that, e.g. @nhbbear, continued to be tagged into threads.

Just a theory, mind, but if the foo shits...
