Everyone, my man. Only blue collar jobs will be delayed from the chaos.
I believe its going to affect many white collar jobs though
Working in tech I've heard many times about how we're going to be phased out and replaced by offshore engineers, low-code platforms, coding automation tools, etc. but it really doesn't feel like anything has changed.

I think AI will just another tool in your pocket to help get things done faster. I really don't see it replacing bodies for most jobs. You also have to consider the people that are most vocal about AI taking over are executives/stakeholders of AI companies.

I don't think it will "replace" these jobs as much as it will decrease the amount of human workers needed in these fields. In the same way that automation did to manufacturing.

In any case, I hope that I'm wrong

Maybe but then it could also empower start ups as small teams can be much more productive.

Production will rise — jobs will fall.

This is a big part of my work. Despite my retardation here on Sherdog, I am a very competent professional and have to make long term forecasts about this very thing.

Jobs are already currently being replaced and it’s going to accelerate tremendously in the next 3-5 years. We’re on an exponential and no one is really prepared.

For example, from a production standpoint, I support and oversee divisions that are 50-60% staffed compared to 2023 numbers and are producing more output today simply due to the most basic AI tools in their workflows. This isn’t even actually going all in on AI.

What sort of jobs are you seeing go away?
