Weeirdly though, the Gutfeld Show being not funny, informative or otherwise relevant kills every late night,
murdering Colbert, Jimmy and whoever else has a show during prime time.

I think it says more about the weakass shit that's on during that time more than it speaks to the show's quality.
Fallon is an awesome talent IMO, but old late schtick doesn't work anymore. It died with Conan. Leno was a hack.
The pioneer, Johnny stands alone as the classic template.

The ugly 'Black' guy Tyrus is completely unnecessary, tawdry and painful to watch.
There are some hotties on once in a while, think a sexy Charlie Arnolt, but it's pretty much just
counter-programming to MSNBC, etc.

Definitely. It's why a dork like Tucker Carlson had a resurgence, after being relegated to guest spots on PBS. The Left went fucking crazy, lame and stupid, and the Reps just stayed in their lane to the point where their ideas seemed sane in comparison. Conservatives aren't stealing any cultural significance away from the left. The left have been giving it away to them.

Just look at Joe Rogan. He'd be a liberal in the 90's, and a bunch of lame ass Republicans would be bitching about his potty mouth and "dangerous" views. Total reversal now.

It isn't about the movement of political standards. If you fought for gay rights, then trans people aren't going to make you switch parties.

It's the grift, my lad. Joe understood that being a political contrarian would get him more views and make him more money. Then his underlings like Tony Hitchliff, Tim Dillon, Theo Von, etc. latched onto the same situation.

It's why the only decent edgy podcasts/comedians are Mark Normand, Sam Morill, Jay Oakerson, Luis Gomez, Adam Ray, etc. Because they know that their main job is to tell jokes, and not to soapbox and tell people how to vote.

Rogans a clown masquerading as a political pundit, and he bots most his views.

Oh' yeah, totally.

Supporting gay marriage is a natural catalyst for supporting deranged men being allowed to invade women's spaces(among many, many other problems with the movement). These issues couldn't be any more similar. One hand just washes the other...
