God's creation just continously kept making mistake after mistake. Sin after sin. I'd say almost every story is about man's evil, and their lack of devotion to their creator. Maybe one or two special heroes to justify this morbid creature God has made.

God ended up hating us so much that he genocided humanity, save for a few holy families and a bunch of animals.

It got bad enough to where he had to send himself down as a human, endure pain and sacrifice, just to relinquish his earlier hate for man.

Is God really infallible if his one true passion project is such a fuck up? I mean, c'mon.

If there is a God, it seems like he/its one of many, we were his first guinea pig, he fucked up and left long ago.

If there isn't, then it makes *way* more sense. Still, I'd like to make a movie based on my theory.

One of the prominent themes of the OT was that everyone was a liar. Abraham lied about who his wife was. Cain lied when asked about the whereabouts of his brother. Jacob lied to Jethro and then Jethro lied by giving him the wrong daughter to marry. David, bizarrely known by the Israelites as a "man after God's own heart", lied, stole, cheated and murdered.

So when God promised to Abraham that he would give him a Son, and that through that son all nations would be blessed, Abraham's thinking was that God was a liar too. And for a long time it looked like he was right. But the promise was fulfilled through both Isaac and more fully through Jesus. So they say anyway
