The system sucks I know. There’s still some (lots even) decent men and women in the job doing the best they can within it.

I agree with this 100%. I complain a lot about the way we police in this country and how we need strong reform in a lot of departments. However at the end of the day most officers arent trying to be part of the problem. They are doing the best they can within the rules of our broken system. They are like any other profession some are really great people and some absolutely suck. Most arent out to try and ruin someones life.
