That's part of the reason photo IDs are less common in some communities. What I thought was remarkable about the thread was how people just could not wrap their heads around the idea that "don't" /= "can't." People type out words, but there's no sense that they get the underlying meaning behind them. I've noted that before, and I think it's pretty common, but that thread provides a really, really stark demonstration of the issue.

I think this was another clear cut example of one side, making little to no effort to fully understand the other.

A janitor saw a girl eating where she wasn't supposed to be and he called security. The girl then cried racism and sexism and the janitor was fired.

It was a real shitshow.

It was a real shitshow.

Security was fired as well as one of the cafeteria workers

Plus the student came from a very wealthy family so it was sort basically a rich student bullied a bunch of lower class workers out of their jobs
