Jack White video*

Close I suppose since him and Julian look similar and are in the same genre.
Oh okay that was bugging me. I think the white stripes and the strokes were recursively compared to each other during the garage rock revival thing.

Yea, they were the top two imo during that time in terms of popularity and recognition. It’s kinda weird cause white stripes were my favorite band but I never really got into the strokes. Not sure if it was the vocals or what but they never made it into many of my playlists.

Today marks 6 months of sobriety for me gentlemen. I know I'm being self-congratulatory but I can't emphasize enough what a big deal this is for me. I turned 53 earlier this month and it's like I've gifted myself a new, better life. It was just time.

It's been a shock to some of my social circle to see one of the all-time great alcoholics retire suddenly but they're getting used to it. I'm killing it in the gym and the studio and people are noticing, it's great.

To all of you who are able to enjoy alcohol like a normal person rather than like me and Nic Cage in Leaving Las Vegas, tip an extra one or two back for me today. Cheers!

That’s great man, keep it up. What was your drink of choice? I’ll be sure to have one for you.

Thank you sir. I always try to emphasize that I'm not anti-alcohol, just anti-mebeingadrunk.

For beer I'd start with Voodoo Ranger (9% version) for the first six-pack and then maybe bud light platinum from there out since it really didn't matter. Liquor was Tito's vodka or Kraken rum as favorites. For wine Kendall Jackson chardonnay.

Of course in a pinch I would not turn down shots of fireball and a case of miller lite. Basically endless choices.

Sour Cream/Onion, Salt/Vinegar, or plain as long as they are Ruffles.

I would have gone Jalapeno if I knew Tim Cascades were available in more than like WA, OR, and Idaho but I can't be sure if they are. Jalapeno chips are best when they are those very hard ones from Tim Cascades or that other brand that fries their potatoes in peanut oil.
