No, he's doesn't serve a productive purpose. Even with his obviously disingenuous shtick, though, he's still a more substantial poster than plenty of other WR regulars, including Lounge regulars. As far as his being convincing, I think the proof is in the pudding. The pudding being the posters who get angry at him. He's presumably a right winger pretending to be a liberal, but he's far more realistic than the other trolls who have tried it. He's basically the reverse of ripskater.

The Hound is such a visceral and layered character in the books, I really worried if they could accurately portray that in the show. Rory McCann fucking nailed it.

I refuse to LFG anymore. Hell, the clan I play with we almost refuse to LFG a single extra guy cause one guy one time was acting like he didn't know what he was doing just to try and piss us off.
